I thought we might have avoided a heap of offseason surgeries given our small injury list but at least Richards, Darcy & Naughton have all had shoulder surgery it seems.

And Dale. There was talk he played the last game in pain.

Wonder how long naughts was carrying his shoulder? Earlier in the year when he was dropping everything? And darce also had that fans meter in the test when he dropped his marks.

Is Cody able to do a pre season and play round 1 ?
He said himself a few weeks ago he is finally improving, however still has no timelines

Bailey Dale also had one, was wearing a sling at the AA. Poor boys. Now they can rest up for a few weeks. The joys of playing in the AFL.

Edited to add that Bailey broke his left wrist in the third quarter v Fremantle. Having had a minor break in my left wrist last year, I can relate! He’ll be wearing a wrist brace for some time, I predict.

We won't need to be so aggressive with our high forward press next year with Cody back in the team. The pressure he provides will result in more forward 50 stoppages so we won't be as reliant on repeat forward 50 entries.

Fingers crossed he can get back to that pressure game. The high flying and medium forward marking is a bonus but we need him back to 2021, a pest when the ball hits the deck.
