Reads to me like he's more or less over his injuries but they want to get fully him right before playing him rather than risk re-injury.Wasn’t Treloar 3 weeks last week how’s it gone up yet he’s closing in on a return?

Deep Heat Medical Room: Round 1

A raft of regular Bulldogs are a chance to feature in Saturday night’s Round 1 clash with North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium.
Ed Richards, Bailey Dale and Rhylee West will need to get through main training on Thursday before putting their hand up to be selected.
selected.
The trio have been in main training for over a week, having missed the clash against Hawthorn in Tasmania a fortnight ago.
Laith Vandermeer is also expected to be available for selection after recovering from concussion in that fixture, while skipper Marcus Bontempelli remains several weeks away as he recovers from a calf setback sustained in the same practice match.
“Although Marcus had low level acute symptoms at the time, both scans and clinical findings after the game confirmed a complex calf injury that involve parts of the calf that are prone to having recurrent issues,” Head of Sports Medicine Chris Bell said.
“It’s because of this that we need to be very calculated with his conservative management plan, but he has been progressing well since his injury.
“He has started his rehab and is back on the track, so we will update his return-to-play plan over the coming weeks but can expect to see him back in the next 5-6 weeks.”
Defensive duo Liam Jones and Jason Johannisen are tracking well following their respective hamstring injuries.
“Both Liam and JJ have continued to progress well following their high-grade hamstring injuries,” Bell said.
“They are completing a significant amount of running reconditioning and are both progressing towards higher speed running across the next two weeks.
“We will then consolidate a block of unrestricted football training, with the current expectation that they return to availability in the next 4-6 weeks.”
Adam Treloar is also closing in on a return to play.
“Adam had multiple minor niggles across the December and January period that led to him missing a big portion of his pre-season training. We are conscious to make sure that we facilitate a base of training that allows Adam to consistently perform,” Bell said.
“He has started to build a nice base of consistent training and will continue to execute a pre-season football conditioning model across the next 3-4 weeks.”

JJ "progressing well" ... 2 monthsThanks guys makes sense just the usual frustration why not have that last week instead of 3

I wouldn't be too concerned about the indefinite for Weightman. It's not that unusual to have that given his injury is so unique - it's hard to put a time frame on something that the medical team have likely not seen before.JJ "progressing well" ... 2 months
Jacques is the one we never hear about who just pops up on the list with a long term Injury.
Weightman now idefinite
It's moreso it has blown out from last week when there was an actual number of weeks listed. It's very common for our reports.I wouldn't be too concerned about the indefinite for Weightman. Yeah I can see how that might frustrate some, for sure. It's moreso it has blown out from last week when there was an actual number of weeks listed. It's very common for our reports.
Lol ffs this is becoming a joke nowJOD fractured jaw.
Damn that's a double edge injury.JOD fractured jaw.
Would have to be 2 - 3 monthsAny timeline on JOD?
Would have to be 2 - 3 months
That's because his dad told him not to be softWest had a fractured jaw last year, was only out for a couple weeks
Josh Gabelich has said JOD will need surgery. If its a micro fracture that doesn't need surgery, just self healing. It would still be a couple of weeks at minimum, to prevent the risk of another knock causing more damage. If any surgery is needed, he will likely be looking at 6-8 weeks. But a couple of months or more if the damage is significant. So yeah, our key position stocks in the back line at at the bare minimum now. Only Busslinger and Lobb standing.
Bummer. We really need to hang on until after gather round. Jones, Bont and Treloar all scheduled to come back in 4-5 weeks. Some tough fixtures in thereJosh Gabelich has said JOD will need surgery.
Maybe he's just an optimist. It's not a terrible trait ....is it?What a positive medical report everyone progressing well but really is they all weeks away. Chris Bell the king of spin

West had a fractured jaw last year, was only out for a couple weeks
