That’s not looking good… happened near the end of the game. I thought it might have been the medial in his knee.
We are in a very precarious position with rucks at the moment. Briggs has landed back at primary ruck due to unavailability. But we only have him and Aleer for probably another month. Another ruck injury and we will have Callum brown rucking (he still might be backup this week)

AFL Media today has more info and background on Toby playing with injury for the last 5 weeks. This level of commitment means he’s going to stay with us?

GREATER Western Sydney captain Toby Greene has remarkably spent the last five weeks playing with a broken foot after an incident in the Sydney Derby.

Greene fractured the fifth metatarsal in his foot after being stepped on during the Swans' victory over the Giants on April 17, but has soldiered on despite the injury for more than a month.

The fifth metatarsal is the long bone on the outside of the foot, connecting to the little toe.

Club has confirmed the following regarding Jake Riccardi:

Jake Riccardi had surgery today to fix the syndesmosis injury discovered on an MRI scan earlier this week.

Damn. Best case 6 weeks.

GREATER Western Sydney forward Jake Riccardi will miss at least two months in a massive double-injury blow for the Giants.

Riccardi underwent surgery for ankle syndesmosis after injuring himself in the dying stages of GWS' 78-point win over Brisbane in round 11.
