Guys,

Are there any possible outs for next weekends game due to injury in the first GF?

yes... we have one, and its a very sore groin - i dont think he will miss though from the info i have.. i wont say who publicly and my source is someone who is involved heavily with the players..

If true then my guess would be Luke Ball or Pendulbury.

Who is the player? Will they get up for Sat?

cloke had a bit of ankle trouble, wellingham looked very sore. ball looked sore. didak looked sore. hope pendles is ok after that fall.

Didak looked really sore for most of the game but they had saw players as well in Gram and Dal Santo. Everyone has some sort of pain after 26 weeks of footy.

Gilbert was limping badly at the end of the game...Gram and Dal Santo won't be helped by backing up...Lyon said Baker only had one week in him....

so I would say we are better off than the Saints...

It will be very interesting how both clubs pick their sides...Lockyer, Goldsack and Medhurst are all fresh

It wouldn't surprise me if someone broke down at training this week...the Grand Final intensity must reek havoc on a players body.

There was an article where Malthouse commented on one of the positives being that we come through with a clean bill of health.

Pendlebury was severely winded. I can't believe he didn't receive a free for that. It was pretty dangerous and a clear case of tunneling.

This is where the multi million dollar facilities will play their biggest part ever.

We really need to get our routine perfect this week to ensure the best recovery and health of our players.

Well for the benefit of others then Pendles and Brown with a Quad.

Ball has his perennial goin.

A few others have ankles etc, but will probably play.

keep clutching.. another 19 players and you might get the guy right eventually.. everyone else is in pretty good nick bar this bloke - but he will play.

I'm worried about Pendlebury.

He couldn't even bend over after hurting his back. Easy pickups and he'd bend down half way and fumble because he couldn't get low enough to ground. He was moving beautifully, absolutely cutting them to pieces in the first and then he was moving like an old man.

Pendles will be ok, sounds as thought the Saints have more injury concerns

Just to back up the other Saints poster. pendlebury has a rib injury, unsure of how bad and N Brown has a quad injury.

Like someone else mentioned, the Saints have a lot more injury concerns though. Gardiner won't play (hammy), then there are a bunch of players that are in some doubt. Dempster (ankle), Dal Santo and Gram still sore and Gilbert had scans on a hammy after cramping up after the game. Blake possibly injured as well.

Dissapointing we may see alot of players out for the GFII

I suppose the pies depth will hold them in good stead coming into this weeks game
