Either that or wait till monday and just ask the Richmond footy club, after all, their in the box seat to get him so they should know how he pulls up:thumbsu:

hahahahaha they are never going to live that down... good ole senile Kevin Barlett...

It was hilarious listening to him the other day... he was fielding all these phone calls about carlton "tanking" and instead of saying exactly those words he said "I agree, I can't believe the AFL let Carlton get away with what they were doing"... then had the audacity to deny he was claiming Carlton tanked after I emailed in... then wouldnt reply to my follow up attempts to correct him... he is so one dimensional and will believe anything that is rang in...

I think I am going to ring in on Tuesday and claim that Judd was spotted at the surgeons and was limping terribly... I am sure he will run with it and it will then be on the hourly news broadcasts!

sorry?! I am only a lazy 7-8 years older than our little EBIAC and my old man doesnt know of the saying (46yo) I think it is a phrase coined by the 30-35 less people..

It must have missed a generation then -- I am in my early 60's and it's been part of the footy vocabulary/vernacular since I was a child and probably longer -- and it's still a great comment even after all this time.

Yep. Just because a saying isn't used a lot doesn't mean it doesn't have history.

EBIAC,
You now know what this means but don't be embarrassed. The saying is very common and familiar to older posters but it may not be so common amongst your younger age group.

Great to see the passion you have for the Blues. Keep on posting.

I prefer to use the term 'mature posters', rather than older posters.

Only the Tassie ones

You got me thinking ----I guess Richmond didn't need the sponsorship as much as Hawthorn but wouldn't it have been a great marketing ploy---

Tassie Tigers sounds so much better than Tassie Hawks

Are too, are too.

Hey how did you pick Thylacine as a 'nick'. I'm guessing that there would be a few Richmond supporters wishing they had got in first with that.

I've had it registered since the mid-nineties as a business name. Was surprised it was still available actually.

Think that's the state cricket team.
