I hate you so much right now KPR:mad::mad::mad:

but can you confirm it's a joke now for my piece of mind

if you look through the thread you will see that there was an essendon supporter (i think) who was asking heaps of questions about suban, quite clearly looking for dreamteam info, anyway i think it was IP who said that he should go to the dreamteam thread, and i was the very next post, where i said "requires reconstructive surgery", it was said tongue in cheek, sorry for the confusion, i honestly didnt think people would take it seriously... i will confirm that i have heard suban hurt a shoulder, but then came back on the field, i have DEFINETLY NOT HEARD that he requires a reco... sorry :o

I read in the season preveiw thread that my buddy Brent Connelly will miss six to eight weeks of wafl with a hip injury. does anyone know when this happened?

not sure, but has he played any preseason matches this year? did he play against the roos? if not it might have been something picked up during the super hard preseason the boys have just endured

Link to the latest injuries for all clubs as at 14 March.

Nothing to say Connelly is injured. Just Headland with achilles tendonitis and Solomon with suspension.

There are a couple of injuries which the site havent updated yet but yea should be handy for dt/sc.

Injuries im talking about are Gumbleton and Grimes (both back complaints) that I know of.

Thanks for the link mate.

I wonder what the deal is with my buddy Foster?? any ideas?

his work load got reduced significantly because he was experiencing back soreness basically because of his injury last year, i think he has struggled to step it up to full pace since and i hate to be a pessimist, but i think he may struggle to make it back, which is a shame because he was one player i was truly excited about :(

There was an article stating that they were seeking permission, it would bve in one of the other threads around here but they have asked them.

Thanks KPR. I knew he had more back problems during the preseason but haven`t heard anything else about him since.

The club hasn`t mentioned him going on the LTI list yet so the optimist in me says that they`re just being cautious with his comeback and he`ll be right to play WAFL this week:cool:

I really hope you are right :thumbsu:

What has been the problem with Elvis during the pre-season? I know it has been said he will be OK for rnd1, but have seen nothing of him during the NAB series.

Has there been any more news on Adam Campbell? He seems to always be the forgotten one whenever our injuries are mentioned.

I noticed that too I think he isn't mentioned cause he wont be back to the WAFL till around round 4 IMO though there isn't a lot of info to go on.

Just call me nostradamus!

IP has informed us that he`s named to play WAFL Reserves this week!

According to The Worst, Brent Connelly had hip surgery a couple of weeks ago, is recovering well and should be available to play for Perth in another 2-3 weeks.

And Jay van Berlo is apparently another in a moon-boot with foot soreness. They (WP) are not sure if if is just a "hot-spot" or if it has developed into a stress fracture. They are hoping he will be available to play for the Joondies in Rd 3.

That's three rookies (de Boer, Pearce and VB) with hot-spots / stress fractures... does this seem like a bit of an issue??
