dont scare me with your deals!!!!! :(

i think he may have settled hear in Adelaide now, and he's a little older and more mature than what he was when he moved over here.
I hope he wants to stay because he will be good for us in a couple of years
Football dealings have no place for emotional attachments. I like Reilly as much as you do (well maybe not as much:p ) but if the deal that I mentioned in previous post was offered to me I would jump at it before the other party changed their mind. He is a good youngster with bright future but at the end of the day so is Faulkner (more of an excitement machine) and pick in top 10 is better than a late 1st rounder as long as we don't stuff it up like we did with Angwin:D

That was the one he missed from 15m straight in front? Geez, convert that and he might have gone nuts eh? :p

I wasn't expecting him to do anything particularly noteworthy, just maybe show something at home against the side playing the worst football in the comp, with the worst tall defence in the comp. I might have been expecting too much from him :D ;)

Sorry if I'm going all St. Peter on you blokes but I'll wait til I see it, before I believe it. But by all means keep up the faith, I admire you guys for it :)
Its unserstanable that a lot of guys are not convinced but I have seen him play a lot of good footy with the Eagles and when his confidence is sky high LOOK OUT. The screamers, the strong marking, the freakish goals, agility and speed that leaves opponents wanting.

I just have this funny feeling if he puts in a good game his confidence will increase and he will play like he belonged. I think he should have a good pre-season, put on a bit of weight and during next years Wizard Cup play him every game and give him a LOT of time on the ground. Show the same confidence in him like we did with Reilly and he will grab it with both hands. Mark my words he is an exciting player.;)

CROWS NEWS

Crows on the mend
Adelaide goes into this weekend’s mid-season break with 10 players on its injury list, but six of them will be tested next week and hope to resume in the AFL or the SANFL the following weekend. The seven are Ronnie Burns (ankle), Matthew Clarke (knee), Matthew Bode (knee), Wayne Carey (calf), Mark Stevens (knee) and Brent Reilly (collarbone).

Just checked out the AFL site which had the above article on our injury status.

Whoever wrote is certainly no mathematician, as they say that six of them will be tested next week and then goes on to say that the seven are .... followed by 6 names!!! :D

I'm with you Stiffy & i'm a little confused as to why so many want to put the knifes in at this early stage of his development,

As for his supposedly lack of poise well i thought the opposite on a number of occasions & he doe's look the type with that most sort after skill of having time & poise to make a decision with what to do with the ball,

"CONFIDENCE" & extra weight sessions will do him the world of good & he will make his mark in the side next year,

Stevo's injury update

There was some footage of Mark Stevens on channel 10 news and he appeared to move freely. He looked pretty quick when he did his running and he participated in the competative drills.

I guess we can expect Stevo back for round 14 game against Richmond after a run with the Eagles next week.:) Thats if there is not a mishap at the training next week.
