Weedon?? Weedon??

Surely you guys are pulling as much piss as humanly possible?

You want to bring in a guy who's played one game of AFL footy (and did so well he hasn't played since) to replace a guy that's kicked 167 goals in the past three seasons.

Weedon might be good a couple of years, but you don't bring him in to replace Lecca, especially not in a final at the MCG against a team that's the best of the past five years.

Put down the bongs kids. Put them down and walk away.

LeCras had both his knee and ankle heavily strapped at yesterday’s recovery session, but today dismissed concerns he could miss this Saturday’s preliminary final clash with the Cats at the MCG.

“I just felt a bit of a twinge, but once I hobbled off the ground and once I got to the bench it sort of loosened up and felt a bit better, so I managed to play out the rest of the game,” he said.

“I pulled up a little bit sore yesterday, but it's feeling really good so I'll be fine. I just iced it up yesterday and it's pulled up really good today.”

LeCras, who said his ankle was worse than his knee, expects to fully fit for Wednesday's main training session.

The news also appears good for Josh Kennedy (eye) and Eric Mackenzie (foot), with Eagles teammate Andrew Embley backing the pair to shrug off their respective injury concerns.

Mackenzie is wearing a moon boot to treat his injury – the full extent of which is not known – but it is believed to only be a precaution, while Kennedy has been cleared of facial fractures following a first-quarter collision with Carlton’s Lachie Henderson.

but of course suma said kerr was 100 percent fit before collingwood.

This is the injury list, as of yesterday, on the Eagles website:

Injury list as of September 19

Neates (PCL) season
Wilson, B (ankle) season
Rosa (PCL) test
Smith (hamstring) available
