I feel we get stung more than other clubs.

Record lengths between AFL games.

-Cousins (doesn't count, but proves my point)
- Foley, Coughlan, Brown, Moore

Now Astbury. Possibly Grimes and Foley again.

Why is it always the good players?

We've been ass****ed over the last decade, no doubt about it. No other team has lost so many top calibre mids as they hit their peak.

We've been playing matchsticks against men. Some of our players were never physically ready to play as we had a non existant weights room or program for about 20 years. We were asking blokes to play like a Mainwaring, or a Weideman, etc, etc, and what did we have to unsettle them, oh yeah, brick shithouses in Powell and Dundas.
It's no surprise that we have improved and are physically more capable due to Dimma's non negotiables.
And yes, all clubs have injuries, but, they don't have a curse upon them ;)
