stevens has some ankle issues, so maybe they didn't want to risk it? he's fine for round 1 though........

naitanui has had a partial subluxation, so probably less serious as mentioned above.......

Yes , he came back on but ,... probably cramp

Both Naitanui and Brown have partial shoulder dislocations , Worsfold hoping both will be right for Round 1 and Eagles are not sure whether scans will be taken

Nata needs to ease up a little when he plays or this shoulder problem will continue on ........
Shit a brick. Two big blokes with ****ed shoulders.
What a bitch. Shoulders never get better, they just stay rodgered.
I hope they don't dislocate or sublux anymore. Odds are they will.

My heart is broken.:(

I don't think it was - twas his right that was operated on.

And I remember seeing a photo from Sat with his left iced up!!

Must have shoulders like mine....bloody unstable.

I've had it slip out about 8 times doing things ranging from playing Soccer, resting my arm on the fridge door, climbing fences, bowling in cricket and sneezing. It takes 2 mins to to get it back in.

They should get them to shoulder press 24kg kettlebells....I've been doing it to strengthen the ligaments and I haven't had anywhere near as much trouble. Kettlebells will definitely help.

Well they said the same thing about Judd thats why he slipped to us in the first place I dont think ive ever seen him ever have a shoulder injury since draft.

fair enough you still see my point but?

Yep - and some blokes forge careers with bad shoulders anyway.

I remember Brett Heady it seemed like he'd dislocate his shoulder for the hell of it.

He'd come to bench writihing in agony - and be back out a week or two later.

Nic Nat had scans on the shoulder today , hopefully good news tomorrow - otherwise warm up young Lycett :footy:

May need minor surgery or as with last season play with heavy strapping

Not good news , put in cotton wool for a month at least IMO !

I keep getting the feeling our injury management / medical staff are pathetic.

Wouldn't the scan be automatic the day after such an injury so that early decisions can be made in an informed manner.

Often you read about valuable players getting scans the night of an injury

from afl site 5pm tuesday 15 march

West Coast
Mitch Brown (shoulder) - TBA
Nic Naitanui (shoulder) - test
Adam Selwood (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks

What's worse, TBA or test? You'd think we'd be more inclined to rest Brown with Mackenzie a better replacement than Lynch for Naitanui (assuming Brown was ahead of Emac etc.)

Hopefully they both are fine though and only Kerr and Selwood miss.

Here is North's list:

North Melbourne
Ryan Bastinac (knee) - indefinite
Matthew Campbell (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks
Nathan Grima (back) - 2-4 weeks
Lachlan Hansen (shoulder) - TBA
Ayden Kennedy (knee) - indefinite
Ed Lower (knee) - indefinite
Hamish McIntosh (achilles) - indefinite
Brady Rawlings (hamstring tightness) - test
Marcus White (shoulder) - indefinite
Levi Greenwood (ankle) - 4-5 weeks

"Naitanui injured his shoulder in the NAB Cup semi-final loss to Collingwood, but Worsfold was confident the dread-locked star would be fit for the season opener against North Melbourne on March 27.

But Adam Selwood may be forced to sit out the match after injuring his hamstring in last week's practice match loss to the Dockers."

Don't shoot me but thats a good to come out of that match.

We all know Woosha would pick him if he was fit! Hopefully, the kids can put a really good display in round 1/2 and make Selwood come through the WAFL

despite his indifferent form last year, i'd still like adam selwood in the team...preferably in the backline. because of his injury it's fairly likely that McGinnity will be in the team to play selwood's role as a defensive runner.

i know who i'd rather have in the team.

and TBA is worse than test. test means that he'll be ready to play if he passes a fitness test. TBA is a less serious 'indefinite'. probably means theyre trying to hide something or they are actually unsure of the extent of his injury (lol, sif).

McGinnity has 'upside'. McGinnity 'may' improve his kicking, Adam will never.
Shocking kick.
Should be depth only IMO. :thumbsu:
