Neates placed on LTI

"The lively small forward will go into hospital for surgery on a hernia tomorrow and will spend two months recovering from the operation as he strives to return to full fitness.

The club has not yet made application to the AFL to replace Neates on the senior list."

Long term injury list for a hernia?

There are a few different types of hernias btw and depending on the size of the herniation can determine the extent of the injury. Once knew a bloke with a badly herniated testicle. Poor bastard was in agony for a long time.

To the above post god that song is catchy.

such bad luck for lecras. it was so onnocous (sp??)

i still wouldn't be suprised if we don't see him till 2012.

That would be great but I doubt it. Won't be able to do any fitness work while recovering.

When he comes back he won't be playing midfield I'd say. Back to roving around the forward 50, which should please half the people on here.

If he only misses 5 games we have dodged a bullet big time.:thumbsu:

So just to confirm, it looks like Waters has hurt his other elbow (his right) and not the one he had reconstructed (his left as per below)...

Anyone have any ideas how bad it was? Hopefully just over extended and not a dislocation :(

In the writeup on the Eagles website there were no West Coast players reported as injured, must not be that bad then.

Although he didnt talk about it Woosha didnt seem to think much of it in the press conference if thats anything to go by
