I'd rather take my medical information from Doctor Pepper than Larkins but here is his comprehensive wrap from the AFL site.

- Star West Coast midfielder Matt Priddis (thigh) is a certain starter for the club's preliminary final clash against the Sydney Swans or North Melbourne.

- Jeremy McGovern would benefit from the week off after spending at least 18 minutes off the ground receiving treatment for his injured AC joint (shoulder) against the Hawks.

- Chris Masten (hamstring) is a strong chance to return for the Eagles' preliminary final clash in Perth in a fortnight's time

Bit of an update on McGovern's shoulder, but nothing really new we didn't already know.

West Coast Eagles defender Jeremy McGovern remains confident he can overcome a sore shoulder to perform at his best in the Eagles’ Preliminary Final in two weeks.

McGovern appeared to struggle at times with a sore AC joint, sustained against Adelaide, but after leaving the field late in the first term returned and played out the game.

The 23-year old says it was sore but the break will do him the world of good before hosting either Sydney or North Melbourne on September 26.

"That last handball was a bit of a jelly arm there," McGovern told Channel Seven.

"I just had to get a bit of treatment on it, a bit of work on it, it was a bit sore.

"We've got the week off now so I'll get it right."

Coach Adam Simpson agreed saying McGovern was one of a host of Eagles that would enjoy the week off.

"His shoulders sore, he's got an 'AC' and he's struggling to get it above his head. He's going to enjoy the break,” Simpson said post-match.

“We've got a lot of sore players though. So we're going to need the break to recuperate."

McGovern has worked as part of a much-lauded Eagles defensive unit this season, after playing at both ends of the ground in his debut season in 2014.

McGovern says the team unity the Eagles have is a big part of their defensive success story in 2015.

"Our goal most weeks is to nullify people's scoring," he said.

"We work as a whole team, not just a back six.

"The back six have been good, but the whole team's getting better at it and that's going a long way to it.

"If our midfielder's can put that (pressure) on it gives us a good chance to win the ball back."

The Eagles defeated the Hawks in front of 42,663 screaming fans, the biggest crowd Domain Stadium has seen in 2015.

McGovern says the crowd were a huge lift for the boys and hoped it’d be another packed house for the Preliminary Final.

"It's a good feeling," McGovern told Channel Seven.

"The fans turned up tonight which really helped, a home final was always good, we've got another one now so hopefully the fans can turn out again."

Did he do a PCL?

Will he be right for the first day of preseason?

Duggan Sheed Yeo Shuey Naitanui Gaff - Our midfield is in safe hands for the future.
Yeah PCL taken a cautious approach to his recovery ( a good thing imo) Realistically he could play in the prelim/GF
had we pushed the recovery. No doubt in my mind barring unforseen set backs/ injury he should be cherry ripe for the first
day of preseason

Does anyone else shit themselves when an alert for this thread comes up??? I know I do:D
I read a post at the top of this page saying Priddis might miss the rest of the season, having not seen the time posted and assumed it was recent, nearly had a heart attack. :(

I know it doesn't matter now but its a pity they let Duggan have the rest of the season off. His knee injury was a couple of months ago now we could have seen him one more time in the WAFL.
