It just shows how good the likes of Shuey, Gaff etc can be when they are organised and working hard, which is exactly what I was arguing.

Imagine adding an elite midfielder to that unit to take the tag and rack up 30 good possessions every week. Apart from Priddis, who has plenty of time left in the game, all your mids are young and developing. Add a genuine elite mid or two to that and all of a sudden you're a contender.
Yeo will be that elite mid year for us his tank and possession numbers will improve as the year goes on and Duggan looks one for the future. they were the mids i was alluding to.
i agree when these player step up it takes the pressure off Shuey and Gaff etc and they perform better.

Gaff was interviewed yesterday.

Long story short, 4 weeks for Darling is being cautious, and he reckons that Darling will playing sooner than that. Just depends on whether he plays at WAFL first, or comes straight back into the team.

Also mentions Ellis & Selwood. Sounds like they will all be back in the next month.

I want Darling, Scooter and Ellis to take their time and even play a few games of WAFL before they come back so they are a 100%. People hate on Scooter but a 100% fit Scooter is a very good player and is needed.

Can't wait to have Darling back.

Will give us a better target at CHF - we lack a lot of structure going forward. His hard long leading will really suit our gamestyle.

Excited.

Great.

Unfortunately, experienced wingman Matt Rosa suffered a setback in his return to senior football after missing two games with a hamstring.

He has re-injured the muscle and is still being assessed in terms of how long he is expected to be sidelined with the latest flare-up.

Feel for the guy. He's had more than his share of injuries in he last few years and he'd had a great start to the season including being one of the few who played well in our 2 losses.
