Ellis latest injury is a calf so would think he pinged that in his rehab program, which still does not bode well for him
To be fair to Ellis the hamstring injury turned into a calf like halfway through.his calves have nearly ruined his career once already.
Apologies. But I'm not sure either is very good. When his calf can't make it through a rehab for his hamstring it's a real worry.

That's a good list. Colledge is contracted to 2016 so unlikely he will be delisted IMO.

Others (in my order of likelihood):
Newman
Maginnes
Powell
Ellis
Butler
Hill

injuries will be a key factor for a few of these.
I would be shocked if we delisted Newman after everything.

He was still taken with a second round pick only a few years ago. He'd have to do something incredibly dumb (again) or show a terrible attitude to training. The injury he has atm isn't really a worry either, being a finger rather than a knee/hamstring.

Newman also injured his hand through contact, rather than Ellis with a calf. Up until that point he was doing very well in the wafl and probably had a call up in line before josh hill.

Soft tissue injuries for Ellis have been a big issue for his whole career, but I can see him getting another year if he can break into the team once he is back. The below article is an interesting read, albeit a dated article. Suggests that Ellis might pull the pin himself if he can't keep on the field.

You're probably right.

Wrist injury?
The MC won't be happy about that...

That is looking pretty damn good going into the bye. Spots up forward and through the midfield will be at a premium for the first time in years!

Tunbridge. Gets a game, looks pretty good, won't play again for the year. And will probably get cut post-season.

Football's a cruel game.
Just watched the interview with Vozzo, Tunbridge season is over because they decided to put him into surgery for his shoulder, so its nothing to do with his ankle. Wouldn't have thought they would end his season early like that if they were still deciding whether or not to delist him.

Post Bye is really tough fixture-wise (apart from the Dees)

Adelaide
Collingwood
Sydney
Suns
Hawks
Freo
WB
Adelaide

So we will need to stay healthy to get through that.

Sounds like Darling will go through WAFL (he's been out for a while, so far enough), but Rosa and Sheed should be contenders for the 22 this week. Yeo a definite in and Bennell and Colledge the likely outs.

If Yeo comes in for Colledge I can see Rosa coming in for Bennell and playing off half back.
