Such bullshit!!

I cannot believe how unlucky that is. The guy played injury free for a decade. First game for us as injury cover and he gets injured !

McInness will get games in the ruck this year

He has a collection of voodoo dolls I'm sure.

In the first five minutes. It's like Mitch Brown never left

13 of the last 14 seasons he's played 20+ games, and manages to fracture a hand after ten minutes with us,

Super!
Absolute f****** garbage it is. I think I'm more devastated for him than I was for Lycett when he injured his shoulder. At least (I hope) Lycett has a fair few years left in him. This guy comes here, by all accounts puts his heart and soul into the pre-season knowing full well may not get a game, and is done after pretty much two minutes.

F*** that.

I think we should use our draft picks to get 2 ruckmens

1) To cover for nic nat when he retires
2) Replace injury prone: Petrie vile Giles lycett.

So 1: rookie ruck
2: i stop ruck

So all togther we will have

Lycett, Nic Nat, Petrie, Vardy , and 2 more ruckmen

Sucks for Petrie, it really does. Probably more depressing than a soft tissue injury; you could at least put that down to age. This is just rotten luck.

Managing sore bodies will be interesting with the (incredibly stupid) 5 day break coming up. Hopefully boys pulled up well.

It's ironic I guess that I'm saddened by an injury to a player I was vehemently opposed to us recruiting in the first place

Really really shit luck for a guy that's done everything right since he came to the club. Really hope it's closer to 6 weeks than 10

Do wonder if he would've lined up round 1 had it not been for injury. Probably in place of Hill.
They would have found room for him. Maybe not as much room as they need to find now that he's a bit bigger
