Would have liked him to have had a full preseason and an injury free season so a proper assessment could be made of his abilitiesHe better have a kick ass 6 months when he comes back because if doesn't turn it on then he is toast. Feel kinda sorry for him really because he has been a victim of circumstance and hasn't been able to prove himself to date.
Club has nothing to gain from encouraging the hybrid reconstruction if they thought he wouldn't be able to show enough in the second half of the year to earn another shot. They'd have put it plain and clear that his AFL career is over if there wasn't enough time.Not sure how he is able to perform at his best in such a short period of time given the seriousness of the injury he sustained. Not sure the Eagles have any more lifelines for him after this year considering they all went with LARS which was basically an ultimatum.
