There was also a pic of Naitanui mid squat with a tens machine hooked up to his quads, but I can't find it anymore - it may have been removed.
I think you'll find it is EMS. tens disrupts pain transmission (nociception). Ems stimulates muscle firing. It's often used in rehab for knees post surgery to reduce muscle atrophy, but also for elite athlete training. Can be used to rehab when muscles are firing at the wrong time which may be contributing to injury or to develop more explosive power.

Btw DS, I'm not a lifter but was doing mad research for rehabbing a hammie to get back on the bike... Who has 45mins a day spare anyway??!

Nah. Looks pretty confident in everything he is working on and if he couldn't do all those exercises, no way would he make it through a game of footy

Man I can feel it in my knees just watching. Eek. Seems too early to be doing that.

Willie Rioli (hamstring) - test
Sam Butler (hamstring) - 2 weeks
Eric Mackenzie (hamstring) - 2-3 weeks
Daniel Venables (foot) - 2-3 weeks
Nic Naitanui (knee) - Late 2017 season
Matthew Allen (foot) - Season

The players I've put down as test might not be on the list. Wouldn't be surprised if Venables gets listed as season

Not blaming the player as you can't help injuries but taking into account Venables had injury problems when he was drafted, can't say it was a smart move with our Club drafting Venables in lieu of SPP considering he was AFL ready??
 
Not sure why they are bothering with Venables tbh. 3 weeks leaves only 3 more games to play. Will be back on managed minutes in WAFL. Just tell him to have an early break.
