So for this "little slip up" they put his upgrade and debut on the back burner for a while? (Even without the injury)

From what you can gather or have been told is it really just a small incident and the club are being OTT and trying too hard to keep this good boy image? Or is it warranted?

I don't think there's much, if anything at all, in it

Apparently he has had some off field challenges in the past but there's no suggestion there's any issues atm

The club were really happy with his first month of footy

What a pile of absolute bollocks.
Tell me what part of it is crap?? mate Gaff is at best a good midfielder, will never be an elite which is A+ standard. Simple, cuz his all round game is does not warrant him that title neither does he deserve such accolade this point of his career. You wanna call someone elite, use the metrics used on such players:He can't kick on right, tackling doesn't exist in his game, cant shrug off tackles, doesn't kick as many goals as an Elite player should, his goal assists are good but once again not elite. He is good and I want him in the squad, but don't fall in love with the guy.

Do not ever Call Gaff elite! Kerr was elite, Cuz was elite, Judd was elite, Kemp, Matera. Gaff is not elite and I am happy to argue his case with you all day.

Gaff is an elite outside wingman averages 30 touches a game and isn't a snowflake like masten. He always goes when he needs to

Gaff has squibbed a few contests this year already.

On the weekend though he went hard. Got run over by Fyfe a couple of times and bounced straight up. I think Andrew feels slighter than he actuallyis these days. Old habits die hard etc

Nice rant, it had absolutely nothing to do with your previous post which was "Gaff doesn't tackle and falls over at contact, that's why he never gets injured".

If you want to start a debate about what an elite midfielder is and where Gaff sits among our all-time midfield, this isn't the place.

If you'd like to admit your previous post was absolute bollocks and move on, feel free.

Gaff has a great method going on. Never tackle. anytime someone lays a tackle on him, fall asap. Focus on kicking so no one can notice your weakness. No surprise why he hasn't missed many games :).
Laidbtwo good tackleson Fyfe in the derby and bought him to ground....

I do apologies for posting this on the injury list. However, I do not apologies for my comments regarding GAFF not being Elite AFL player.I am a fan of GAFF, He is great for our team, however calling him elite is the most ridiculous biased emotionally charged comments I hear from our fans.I do apologies for posting here though.

When did anyone call him elite here. You brought it up. You called him soft and brought the a grade stuff up when challenged.

Almost Everyone here thinks GAFF is untouchable and Elite.
Not really. Gaff had an elite year in 2015 but has dropped off. To be elite you need to do it over and over. He probably is the best wingmen going or one of them.

I dont know too much more, but my understanding was that it was only that particular week, then the injury got him.
I guess when your a cat b rookie, it's pretty easy to keep it out of the media, given you need to have space available as well as a rookie spot to put through an upgrade, so no one really asks questions.

Waterman indefinite

Get ******

That family has had no luck at all

******* bullshit
according to Vozzo its not too bad and that he has come off the boot and is progressing ok but club is kinda being ultra conservative.
However,i just can't trust what our medicos and coaches say regarding injured players.

At least some positive movements on the others.

Parto 2 down to 1
Rioli 4 down to 2
Nelson 4 down to 3
Lycett 4-6 down to 4-5
Petrie 5-6 down to 3-4
Cripps 8 down to 6

If (massive if) these are accurate, we should have them all back around the bye :thumbsu:

Think they might have just stuck indefinite on there to stop pesky questions about why he was permanently at 8 weeks.

Apart from Waterman, Tunbridge, Naitanui and possibly Cripps everyone should be back by the bye with Cripps on track to be available just after

Good news also that Watson has recovered since he's no longer on the list
