I'm concerned that being stood on is going to cost Venables a large number of games.

That coupled with his other foot problem suggests he has weak feet.

Weak feet don't win premierships. Let's hope he isn't as injury prone as I worry he might be

He looks to be following Boots career pathway (hopefully minus the tragedy boots faced). 3rd year he will take the comp by storm and will we be unfairly over looked for the rising star.

Won't see Venables in Eagles colours this year, he's probably doubtful to even play WAFL seniors now.

On the plus side hopefully Rioli and Waterman get a clear run at it now.

Great to see Waterman ready to get a game which you'd think would be in the reserves

As Vozzo said in the video, Rioli looked ready to go but I'm glad they're taking a cautious approach and giving him another week. Seems they're being cautious with Venables as well which is as frustrating as it is disappointing that he can't get on the park - he cut a pretty lonely figure at training today

Sucks for Mackenzie after he was building into some pretty decent form

Apparently so.

Decidedly convenient that Simmo said he was in the running for selection too prior to the turf toe as others have mentioned too...

Snippets from his WAFL games certainly prove he's got something. As I say, very disappointing that he's unlikely to debut given where the club is at right now

Any news on Nic Nat? Is he back from the US yet?

Hackdorn reckons he is two weeks in the US, then back for a month of heavy loading. Checks on his knee and weight and if we are in a finals position then look to play him round 22 vs GWS.
But hes really just got a calendar out and doing a bit of maths that anyone could do
