Anyone know exactly how many weeks Chip Frawley is out for?

IMO this years BIG improver, has the ear marks of an AA backman.

Now I've heard on the grapevine that Frawley's injury is meant to be a thigh injury. Don't know what that means, & I wish there were a doctor on this website to tell all of us, just thought people would like to keep up with the news. Hopefully it's a downgrade from a groin strain.

I am the Dr (as opposed to a doctor) but the thigh is the area above the knee on someone's leg. An injury usually means something is hurt, or sore, so I am guessing a thigh injury could mean a sore upper leg.

Cheers.

That is a great description of the injury sustained by Frawley do you happen to be the Melbourne Doctor. What is your description of Rivers injury

Love your work Dr.

Without being a physio or a doctor, just from my personally perspective a thigh is a lesser injury than a groin (which is the same as an adductor). Although I think it can be anywhere from a 1 week to 4 week injury.

I'll give you a clue, my first name is Bohdan....

On a serious note, yeah i think a thigh injury is much less worrying than a groin.

Round 8 List
Mark Jamar – Foot – Available
Brad Green – Broken Jaw – Test
Jared Rivers – Ankle – 1 week
Paul Wheatley – Quadriceps tear – 1-2 weeks
James Frawley – Hip Flexor – 2 weeks
Austin Wonaeamirri – Knee – 6 weeks
John Meesen – Foot – Indefinite
Colin Garland – Foot – Indefinite
Sam Blease – Leg – Indefinite

will we put blease, meesen and garland on the LTI list or not

I doubt it, meesan and garland are tall players, and Zomer is the only tall player on the rookie list, and he couldn't get a kick in a stable.

We can promote one after round 11 regardless, so i think they might wait to see who is most deserving. My tip would be Valenti or McKenzie.

Yeah, I'm not an idiot, I know where the thigh is & that an injury usually means something is hurt. I think the majority of the world know the second one.

Piss weak performance Rivers. Strecher = min 6 weeks injury

FFS has Gazza been mentoring him on how to be a tough guy...

Good news all the same.

I hope that's sarcasm.

Since when does a stretcher mean a minimum of 6 weeks? It was actually the best way to get him off without him having to put pressure on it and it was unknown what the exact damage was.

Better to be cautious.

what on earth is a hip flexor. it would be good if we get green back

Well I'm still not entirely sure what a hip flexor is, but the effect of a hip flexor injury is that you can run on it, but you can't kick, apparently...

Thats what they said was wrong with Hodge, but he has an adductor strain.

They said he can run but cant kick on it, and that becuase hes been playing with it for a while, it has begun to affect his running...

Can the same be said for Frawley?
