Don't remember Grant Thomas contributing to the flood that game.
yeah pal grant thomas is not your coach anymore, ross lyon is. obviously, bomber has learnt from round 7 last year which has partly contributed to our success this year. it is pretty simple, you can't win flags by flooding. i think it's time for st.kilda to start playing for draft picks again. i can assure you the cats will be top 4 by september.

i disagree, geelong will win either way. it will be by 20 if the saints flood or > 40 if they dont, simple as that! but there is nothing worst than paying money and wasting your time watching a flooding style of football.

i watched that hawthorn/st. kilda on television and turned it off half way through. st. kilda were clearly playing an extra defender back and refused to push up no matter what. that's why i dont even know if i wanna go watch this game at the dome on sunday avo.
Word of advice, don't go..... its gonna be ugly!

You really are a muppet. Hawthorn played a 4-man forward line. Where do you think the other 2 went?? Should we have assisted Hawthorn in further flooding our forward half?

Sorry Mr Demetriou, where were you in 2005? I believe sydney did alright that year..

GT didn't contribute to the flood last year, bomber put the flood on.

Do you honestly think bomber won't send an extra man or two back against stkilda? He always has in the past, why stop now??

He knows that if he doesn't - gehrig, riewoldt and koschy will kick 15 between them.

HAHAHA! Biggest load of crock I have ever heard.

You will put one man back, therefore we will have one too. If it were up to us, we wouldn't. We have enough confidence to play our usual style of play this year, which is not putting numbers behind the ball.

Those 3 will never kick 15 between them while we have Scarlo, Egan, Harley/Milburn. One of the most stupid things I have ever heard.

i went. sorry.

no richard cranium, just play one-on-one footy and kick the ball into your forward line quickly; easiest way to avoid flooding.

What did Sydney do in 05 then, you clown!
yeah and sydney is great for the competition you milkshake. if you wanna win flags by flooding, go right ahead and lets see how far you get. sydney's 05 flag was a fluke. anyways, st. kilda don't have the toughness to play sydney's style of game all year round.

You tool. You said flags can't be won by flooding. Not whether it was attractive or not. You can try to get around what you said all you like but it's written down. Peter Ford=Cam Mooney. Not very bright are you Peter.

As for your last point, you are also wrong. We have the toughness, we don't have the personnel. Sydney has, over the years, had a fantastic run with injuries. We are severely depleted and it's hurting us on the ladder.

Im going to hibernate until the split round. Any other St.Kilda supporters please feel free to join me.

flags cant be won by flooding. of course there will always be exceptions to the rule. st. kilda dont have the heart or toughness of the swans, i stand by the statements whether you like it or not richard cranium.

Don't worry, Geelong are playing their best football when it counts least.

You are only a few injuries and a bad loss away from capitulating like previous seasons.

How old are you?
"Richard Cranium"???!!??
And you've used it repeatedly. It's not even ironic!
Why not just call him a poo poo head?

What sort of rule is it if there are always exceptions to it?
Is the no flag by flooding rule like 'i before e except after c'?
Or is it like 'an object at rest will remain at rest until acted upon by a force'?
Because if it's the former then I'm quite happy for the Saints to be the 'Ancient' or 'Reign' that show your theory for the idiocy it is.

I was there last night and there was no flooding that I saw!

Why dont i just call you a silly milkshake?
What sort of rule would be it be if there was no exception to the rule?
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin (1903 - 1977)

that's why my predictions were right, no flooding = >40 point geelong victory

I think this is the problem with geelong supporters and their team - they get too comfortable with their early season wins and run out of gas as the season progresses..

Sydney don't flood, they move there half forwards to play as extra numbers in the middle, they play one on one football. Of course at times they do flood as every team does. The midfield gets back to help run the ball out. Every team does it.

Because that wouldn't make any sense either!

How can a risk be painful? Typical of a french romance (sorry erotica) hack.
