Would you think that Greenwood would return faster due to his injury not being soft tissue and just a contact injury, hoping he can return for the freo game :D

Would need some time to get confidence on the strength of the leg, and conditioning/ match fitness back.

Yeah, not sure with Greenwood either as he's missed a lot of footy.
I think that if Adams holds up and Kennedy shows enough, they might take their time.

Would love to see greenwood and Reid back for the hawthorn game, and thin it's a realistic chance. this is the best the injury list has looked for a good 2-3 years. Geez I hope it continues this way

The coach remains hopeful that former Giant Adams will be available to play but indicated the Magpies would be conservative in their decision.
"I don't know how Taylor will go. Missing one week was ideal for him," Buckley said.
"He might be one who benefits from another couple of weeks off."

:drunk: My head hurts, Bucks.

Seeing as we have the bye after the GWS match it somewhat makes Bucks' comments more understandable. If Adam was to miss this week its not because he has a serious problem but rather the fact that he can have the bye week off as well, which will set him up for the second half of the season without any niggles.

Yeah, he probably said several things in between the quotes anyway.

I would've thought the touching was the issue, not the lack of permission:eek::p
Why would touching be an issue if he had permission to do so?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not interested in another bloke touching my wood.
But each to their own.

Only worry is Ramsay. Was meant to be only minor when he first done it and still a fair way off playing.

I thought that they checked him over more thoroughly after the soreness didn't go away in a more "normal" timeframe and found out that it is a stress reaction (precursor to a stress fracture) ailing him, or at least I recall reading or listening to something to that effect.

If so then there's no real timetable for recovery in such situations unfortunately - it just sorts itself out in its own good time.

Neither am I, but I could hardly be upset about it in the hypothetical situation that I gave permission to, could I?
