What is the point of all that deception. Others teams don't care if we are getting Ramsay back in 2 weeks or 15.
So people can't say "BUT YOU SAID HE WOULD BE BACK IN 2-3 WEEKS AND ITS BEEN MONTHS NOW WTFBBQ!!!1!"

Balmy actually posts on this board under the screen name 'kappa'.

Balmy has a personal vendetta against our high performance manager in Daveron, you see. And this is all an elaborate ruse to try and get him sacked.

He thinks that if he keeps his blackmore injury updates vague then he can jump online and continually whinge and complain about our fitness staff. Attempting to whip us despots into a frenzy and join in the chorus calling for Donovan's head, which in turn will hopefully put enough pressure on the board that they have no choice.

It's really quite ingenious if you think about it.

Sack Daveron! He is useless! Our club has had so many injuries with Donovan in charge! I just can't believe that Devonrub is in charge of keeping our players fit!

Sack Debrlenrbbppft!

It is a shame, shin splints suck, a bit like groin related injuries. Very hard to play through and the body simply needs time to heal.
Pity because after two, three years of hard work he was really starting to show some talent. I have the feeling though this little set back will make him even more hungry, just needs time for his body to develop to withstand the rigors of AFL.

Sorry, but I don't think the shin injury is so bad that it will prevent him from eating :p

When Ramsay was first injured, I'm 100% sure Balme said "he's a bit sore, but we are almost certain he'll play this week"

That was before the tiger attacked him.

Things can change. Obvoiusly he wouldn't have said that if the club believed that he would be out for as long as he has been...

'Keep it frustratingly vague' is Balmes motto. He has it tattooed across his belly, Ben Cousins style.
Phew, Ben Cousins style thats OK. Momentarily I had a vision of Lizbeth Salander sitting on Balmy's guts.

I look forward to the re-reopening of the Ben Reid injury thread. :p

Still got 'that' avatar I see. Much longer?:D The purple heart thingy - seems like it has been decorating our board for a long time now.

People who haven't had shin splints don't appreciate how excruciating and difficult to treat they are.

Imagaine hot knives wedged between your shin bone and your anterior muscle every time you take a stride.
friggin hurt getting them worked on too, have to reduce load and manage your way through them.

Not great news after listening to the Blackmores injury update.

Reid will miss another week.
Goldy will miss this week at a minimum.
Freeman taking time to respond and listed as medium term.

A few tests in there for a couple of VFL players but Greenwood should be right for this week.
