i wouldnt wanna see johnson or whtie down at ff.

just leave dutchey there.

yeh bring in read against his old side. he could probably do a tagging job.

bruce - cousins?

also wat is the extent of neitz injury?

we have lions at the gabba after the break n that is a very winnable game. we would really need his agression to match jonothan browns.

wat are the matchups for the eagles game?

Lynch - Nicholson
Hansen - Fergy if he plays at FF or Rivers if he is more at CHF

with the midfield i reckon that if we get 2 defensive n try to overtag we wont get enough run.

get someone on cousins n just try to match judd n fletcher n braun n kerr with johnstone, mclean, green n moloney

n we really want a big crowd.

would 35K be 2 hopeful?

think of all the ppl that would love to see their team in a grand final but cant. well this is a chance 2 see something similar.

when i look at west coast i think, who could break it open?

Matera could do a farmer n kick a bag thats y Whelan will be one of our most important players. he did kill him last year so hopefully he does the same. lynch needs to be stopped by nicho and not underestimated as does Hansen.

also Embley....maybe Wheatley?

If any of our runners don't pull up well, I'd be tempted to bring in Heffernan (as
much as I don't rate him) because of the 5 day break.

I agree with you Syliva, if Read is fit (must be completely fit as we don't want anymore hamstring problems if we can avoid it) then I would have thought he would be the most obvious and best choice replacement for next week.

Daniher has come out and said some changes will be made purely to bring in fresh legs so maybe multiple changes. I personally would like to see Godfrey come back in, no point bringing back Read unless he is 110% ready as we dont want his hammy going again.

I don't think we should tag their midfield too much, as they are extremely dangerous but I think we can really manipulate their midfielders lack of defensive play. They have Stenglein who would most likely go to TJ and Bruce could maybe tag Cousins, but everytime we are in possession he should push forward as he is a good mark and they would have trouble with him.
IMO their midfield is fantastic but their defense isn't as good as it appears on statistics. They rebound very well but I believe in terms of stopping players (i.e Whelan) they aren't very good. Should be a huge game.

If Read is fully fit then he he is probably the first inclusion to make. Otherwise the likes of Godfrey and Heffernan. I think we just gotta take the Eagles on at their own game this week and attack them. Bruce will probably run with Judd and that be about it. I reckon our midfield rates up with theirs and our forward line I reckon is more potent. Will need to be at our most flexible through the midfield this week tho coming off the short break.
