S Stevens for Bock.

Biglands for Huddo

Welsh to keep his spot for 1 more week, based on his performance against the Dons last year.

May give Bode/Gags a run in the SANFL for Ladhams/Schuback

Doubt Smart will return for a while.

According to todays HS Smart isnt in consideration due to 'tweaking' a groin muscle Biglands will be back and so will Reilly, it also say's Bock, Perrie and Welsh are under pressure to hold their spots as Scott Stevens is also in consideration;)

What will complicate our speculation is if Biglands is earmarked to play at CHB to stand Lloyd.

Our planning has to allow for 3 talls in Essendon's forward line because Hille spends at least half the game in a pocket.

If we need Biglands as the 3rd defensive tall, that means that Hudson stays and Bock probably goes.

Scott Stevens would be handy if fit, because he can play both ends. Who goes for him, if he gets a guernsey??

Finally, Skippy's been getting a bit of a push by the media this week. Does that mean he might take Bodey's spot??

More questions than answers but we have more options than normal IMO

Yer I agree with those ins and outs Stiffy, either one of Gallagher or Bode needs to go back and Id pick Bode. Gags has bugger all gametime on saturday night and is highly valuable if he is given 80mins or more. Put him in there Gary!

Not only that but Gags has been playing good footy when given decent game time. I know its going to be wet BUT pace is a big plus against Essendon, especially in the midfield.

I think Bode is a deadset certainty to go back to bay.
I wouldn't be unhappy with those changes. However, would prefer Biglands used as a ruckman than a backman & leave Sarge at CHB. Got the feeling AFC are more likely to bring in Skipworth or Reilly for Bode than Ladhams.

I agree Gags has done well when coming off the bench. I would like to see him given more game time.

A bit of a surprise, but really, he wasn't playing great footy before the suspension and after 4 weeks out, I doubt he'll be any better. Rhett is very much a touch player, and he needs confidence and good form under his belt to play well. Taking into account the expected conditions and Huddo's good performances, it's not totally unexpected.

Is it really?????? I always thought there was a good chance of Biglands resuming with the Eagles. If you think about it he has always taken a bit of time to get into form. He usually takes a month to start gettig into form every year. SO after a 4 week lay off and lack of match fitness and his "habits" of taking time to get back into form reall suggests that this shouldn't be much of a surprise. Just my 2 cents worth anyway. I would be interested to see if Skippy or Ladhams are selected. Also it would be interesting to see who drops out for Stevens.

 WHY?!?! Is this part of Ayer's treatment of Biglands getting suspended or did I miss Biglands getting injured while doing training?

Was there a need for 6 question marks there?

He only said it was a bit of a suprise.

In any case, Glenelg will get belted. Hopefully Watts doesn't lose his place as a result.

I am a bit surprised. I thought the AFC would have pin-pointed a target for Biglands to stand over the last 4 weeks such as Lucas and tailored his preparation around it.
