Obviously no outs yet, but if sylvia plays who's going out

You'd think its IN: Sylvia OUT: Either Scully or Newton, as wierd as it sounds I think it could be Scully out based on structures. Newton isnt any good, we all know that but he offers a tall target and a chop out for Jamar if needed.

If we're focusing on winning tommorow and less on development then it'd have to be scully out, his disposals/decision making have been very poor so far (especially for a midfielder who went pick 1 but he's still settling in so I won't go in to that), Newton on the other hand helps structurally and he has been doing some nice things in the games he has played, if he's ever going to gain confidence/step up, vs richmond will be his biggest chance. Also wouldn't be surprised if Cheney was brought in to counter richmonds small line up.

would be a very bad idea to omit scully, needs game time, reminds me of the stephen hill situation last year (similar body types), was terrible in the first 3-5 rounds then slowly got better and better and because they got 22 games into him he has exploded this year.

Richmond
B: Shane Edwards, Alex Rance, Matthew Dea
HB: Mitch Farmer, Kelvin Moore, Matt White
C: Dustin Martin, Brett Deledio, Trent Cotchin
HF: Troy Taylor, Jack Riewoldt, Mitch Morton
F: Ben Nason, Jayden Post, Richard Tambling
Foll: Troy Simmonds, Daniel Jackson, Shane Tuck

I/C (from): Tyrone Vickery, David Astbury, Jake King, Graham Polak, Robin Nahas, Tom Hislop, Andrew Collins

In: Polak, Hislop, Nahas, Collins, Farmer, King, Taylor, Astbury, Dea

Out: Chris Newman (leg), Luke McGuane (club susp), Dean Polo (club susp), Relton Roberts, Daniel Connors (club susp), Ben Cousins (club susp)

If we can not beat that side then we are a discrace. We should beat them by 10 goals, but i suspect a fired up Richmond playing in thier Grand Final against the young 'plucky' Demons coming of a win and starting as favorites for the first time in god knows how long that it might just be a close game.

I think we should rest some players this week.

Give Sylvia another week off, James McDonald can have a rest and so can Brad Green.

Id have Spencer at full forward and Warnock next to him. Throw Trengove into the ruck and have Scully holding down full back to teach him some responisbilty.

Sylvia in for Newton, with Garland playing as 2nd ruck. Won't need to call on the 2nd ruck all that often, as Jamar will cream Simmonds/Vickery.

A pretty easy bench to pick IMO.

Scully, Bennell, McKenzie, MacDonald

Yup.

We will be going in oth the intention of running them off their feet, and crushing them with our bigger bodies.

The Russian to ruck alone, he loves it.

Pumped to see Sylvia back, absolute gun.

Juice is an absolute imbecile but with McGuane out he could be a decent target. He'll give Bennell something to crumb. If Juice is out then Garland will have to go forward to give somebody to kick it to.

Jake Spencer should be resigned to water-boy duties permanently. Bail has been impressive but he'd be the obvious one to make way for Sylvia.

Both Bail and Sylvia are in the starting 18 so Rohan won't be making way for Col.

I want Cheney to be in. Form gives him the game. Make tough decisions bailey

This is unfortunate I feel. We all know how fallible Juice is, but I'd love to see him string together a series of games to get a serious gauge of what he can do before the end of the season, and probably the end of his career.
