In: Shane Woewodin, Jason Cloke, Heath Shaw, Tristen Walker.
Out: Ryan Lonie (Dropped), Ben Johnson (Unfit), Leon Davis (Dropped), Cameron Cloke (Inj).

Any news on how serious the Travis Cloke injury is?

I wouldn't be suprised if Leon isn't dropped.
However my outs would be from: Davis, Lonie (I would lean to keeping him in though), Rowe (was pretty good but I still thinks he needs to gain confidence), Egan (only to get more game time), Johnson (maybe but you can't just say they are unfit, he can still be good off the bench and he has to gain fitness), Rusling (inj/full game time), T.Cloke (inj i would be very carefull and rest him anyway), C.Cloke (inj), Swan (very unlikely)

Now obviously not all of these will be gone but at this early stage without knowing the extent of injuries.
Ins should come out of the group of Woey, The Shaws, Lokan, Fraser (most probably come through willy as mick said however our ruck stocks would have thinned with C.C gone), Walker (only to be backup ruckman), Hall (would prefer to Walker).

Thankfully Walker is still injured

Outs: Davis, C2, C3, Tarrant, Rusling (if unfit), Maxwell, Rowe

Ins: Yakka, Hall, Morrison, Davidson, Shaw, Shaw, C1

I laugh at those putting Lonie down, one of our better players tonight

Tristen actually played very good in the 1st half of the game yesterday against the Coburg Tigers. Didn't play any part of the 2nd half, so he must be still carrying that Ankle injury.

Unless Rusling is injured, he needs another crack. The delivery to him yesterday was atrocious, not to mention to Taz. Just gotta be careful we dont go off half cocked at the selection table, they are young, they are gonna have a bad one one.

On a more positive note, I thought Fanning battled well, Lonie is improving again

Negatively, Caracella made it to many contests....did he win one? Looked to pnic, maybe he was a little worried about Brisbane.

R.Lonie was one of our best, L. Davis needs another chance, still got a few touches.

Geez, I dont know, but last time I checked a backman was supposed to stop his man, not spend the entire night running around trying to get cheap kicks and leaving a forward loose to do the same in the forward line

When he is running thats ok, handballing over your head to the opposition, make you want to cry. How does a player know whats behind him, just stupid play.

Yeah coz Corrie really killed us with 11 touches.
By your reasoning Power had a poor game, got a lot of it but Davis got a bit of it.

What has Lonie done wrong in the last 2 weeks? He can’t be dropped.

It’s time for next year. Forget this one we killed in the last 2 trade weeks and at the draft table in 2002 and 2003. 2006 should start today.

I'd drop Rowe for 2 reasons. Firstly he has to know his disposal in unacceptable and unless he improves it over summer he will play his last year in 2006 and it will be for Williamstown. I am sick of us tolerating mistakes and skill errors. Rowe has some promise but he must be made aware that he has no future unless he can consistently hit targets under pressure. His training should consist of weights and skills for the rest of the year with minimal outside match day running. Get him ready for next year. The second reason is to play him for a full game in a prominent role. Make him an important part of the team and give a full game rather than run him on and off the bench.

Play Heath for Rowe. C2 is injured. Walker should come in for him. It should be the last chance for Walker to stay at Collingwood. Give him a guaranteed 3 weeks to show us he should stay and/or build his trade value. Leon should be played carefree and attacking. We need to build his trade value. I wouldn't mind Cole playing a similar role for a similar reason. Cole may actually be able to play on ball although I have my doubts. Let's find out and make a decision before he has no trade value at all.

If C3 comes up I'd rest him anyway. Give him a week off. We know he has a future. This one game means zero to his career progression. Rest his injury and freshen him up. Play C1 down back and give Maxwell a crack up forward. Maxwell may be a flop as a forward but better to know now than in a grand final. Give Iaccabucci a game and play Egan for a full game for Willi.

In: Walker, C1, H. Shaw, Cole/Iaccabucci
Out: C2, C3, Rowe, Egan.
