In: Presti
Out O'Brien

Maybe C Cloke in for T Cloke, but why change a winning side too much. Sorry Burnsy, I think you'll have to spend another week in the twos.

Its really hard finding anybody to drop. If anybody is under the pump, its probably Licuria. If Pendlebury continues his VFL form, then then Licuria could soon find himself playing VFL with Burns (and maybe Wakelin too) . And that will be a good thing because it means we are devloping depth.

We don't need that many talls down back with Lloyd out. Wakelin for Presti. Burns for Caracella. He has done nothing to cement his spot in the team. Not kicking goals, not doing much really. Even against the Hawks his 20-odd possessions didn't mean much. Also despite Licca being a ******** kick, he really helps cement our in and under game which is crucial. We have a problem with our in and under guys being ******** or average skill wise(Licca, O'Bree etc.) and our outside player with the good skills(Lonie, Didak), which means we need to balance it. Because we need both. It would be good if we had a real in and under player with great skills but we don't.

IN- BURNS PRESTI

OUT- OBRIEN CARRACELLA

THOUGHT OBRIEN PLAYED NOT BAD STILL ABIT TO LEARN BUT CARRA HAS TO LEARN TO PUT 2 OR 3 GAMES TOGETHER ALL THE PIES SUPPORTERS KNOW HOW GOOD HE CAN BE

fine, ill say it - licuria is playing like a complete spud. he offeres NOTHING to our side at the moment. he looks as though he's running on the spot, he cant kick to save himself, and cant stick his tackles and he has lost all confidence in himself.

thus;

IN: S.Burns
OUT: P.Licuria

without lloyd, presti isnt really required IMO.

ben davies, cam cloke and scott pendlebury all in the mix over the next fortnight.

too easy. :thumbsu:

No Change

Caracella - showed poise around the ground and though his possession look very easy, he is a precise kick - something we have lacked in the past

Heath Shaw - has improved every game

O'Brien - Much better performance than last week on Corey Jones, who CAN kick a bag

Licuria - Too much experience, you can't drop him

I do hope we see Pendlebury soon though

Difficult to drop anyone on todays performances. Wakelin OUT for Presti. Licuria's looks like he is running on a treadmill. Can't drop O'Brien after todays performance, he was very very good. Burns for Licuria?

Cam Cloke for Guy Richards? At least Cloke can kick some goals up forward, Richards doesn't look like getting near the footy.

We need to get burns in for this game.

Essendon will come hard and we need burns out there in the middle.

Cara might be to soft for an anzac day clash.

Richards out? He played his best ever game today, some of his hit outs were top notch.

Lets be honest Hoggy, the second half our midfielders were up against witches hats. The ball came out of their that easy, it was a joke.

What does Richards do around the ground? His he dangerous IF he goes forward? David Hale should've kicked two goals on him, lucky for him he couldn't hit the side of a barn.

I just think Cam Cloke gives the team some more options, grunt and flexibility

Cam Cloke has got less flexibilty than a 90 year old grandma. Has anyone seen Cam below his knees? Can't pick it up to save his life so he usually swings his boot at it hoping to kick it off the ground but misses the thing completely. Guy Richards has got a very handy leap, and with him being competitive in the ruck and holding his own, it allows Joshy Fraser to float forward and be ever so damaging. For me Richards gets the nod over Cam, even though Cam can be more damaging going forward.
Also liked the look of young Harry. Really shows some poise in tight situations and will learn from every game. Licuria for me is the one to go. Lost all confidence and his poor kicking skills have become worse. Send him down to Willy so he can rack up his usual high 20's and find his touch again as an in and under player. No doubt there is a spot for Licuria in our best 18 when he is up and going. Doubt Micky will drop him though.
Most likely is Cara for Burns. Not a bad position we find ourselves in early in the year. Go pies. Lets show that Anzac spirit.

No change

or

Burns for Wakelin. Only due to Lloyd being out (Clement full back - Lucas?, Trav CHB, Maxwell another possible to take Lucas)

I agree. Dane Swan has taken his place in the midfield and Licuria is pretty much useless in another position. I don't think MM will drop him yet though.

My changes
IN: Presti, Burns
OUT: O'Brien, Shaw

I would not be dropping Caracella even though last Anzac Day he had a day to forget (but so did many of our team).

Presti in - Not sure who goes out though. I would rather have the extra tall though as knowing our luck Hille will have a day out like he did a couple of years ago.

only play 1 of presti or wakes

burns is a must in, he was BOG for willi.....

in - burns

out - candidates

lonie(if injured)
licka - can burns play the role better ATM
cara - hardness in for soft

The only concern was the continued poor form of two-time club champion Paul Licuria, but coach Mick Malthouse was quick to dispel any doubt about his place in the senior team.

"While he breathes air Paul will play in my side," the coach said.

So those of you who mentioned Licca lol

Out Licuria (hamstring)
In Burns

Lica has obviously been carrying a hammy because he can't kick a football. And he got treatment on it repeatedly on the pine. Better being safe than sorry, especially with Licuria.

probably leaning towards no change, but wouldnt mind this:
OUT: O'Brien, Lonie
IN: Burns, Pendlebury
but thats probably more for the sake of it which is really not the point. Minimal change i say.

How could you drop Leonie after he's game yesterday?

Out Wakelin, Licuria (hammy)
In Presti, Burns.

We owe these Black/Red bastards!

He's still gotta get the hit outs to the correct spot, which he was doing, and Hale ain't no mug either IMO.

Heaths name is thrown up a bit here which is Bigtime BS, he does everything required and more. What makes me PO'd is that MM will prob drop him. Makes me laugh that lonie played about 50 poo games in a row without being dropped and yet heath cant keep his spot, crazy stuff.Maybe he just doesnt like the name, heath. Heath is a good footballer and i really hope mm doesnt give him the heath scotland treatment.

If Presti was to come in, Harry should go, which is difficult because he shouldnt have played against the roos because he was terrible against the hawks, but he was good against the roos so shouldnt be dropped.

If Burns has to come in, for an injured licuria, if not he should wear the yellow and blue.
