Mullins was a certainty. Willo is a senior player and needs this game to be good, or his career may be flushed down the toilet. Which was never in mind at the start of last year.

great to see mullins and nixon getting a game, now if nixon gets a fair crack at it that would be even better
it was inevitable williams getting another game with our injury list the way it is, the coaching staff must be giving him every possible oppurtunity to try to convince them to keep him on next year....?
interesting to see if maxwell might be a late inclusion? seems to be a handy player down back, bit like jimmy clement? i dont know much about him
and benny gets his 50th, no funny buggers by the selectors

At the start of the season (no long-term injuries) Collingwood were able to nominate one rookie-listed player to be eligable for senior selection, due to our veteran situation.
Maxwell was promoted today (well yesterday) for Tom Davidson, so both boys are able to play.
Zane Leonard is still a rookie-listed player, but he can play seniors whenever he is needed (with the next 3-4 weeks if you ask me), and Maxwell can play seniors for the rest of the season, and due to the fact that every single rookie to ever be promoted has debuted, you'd think we'll see him this year.

All I want this year is Results from the Younger Pies - But for that to happen they need game time! Damnit!
Hopefully not, as it would mean another serious injury!
Eitherway, I've heard Zane has hurt his leg again, so Maxwell was the logical choice.
Our situation is exactly what the Rookie promotion is for!
