In Prestigiacomo C Morrison Swan

Out Rusling (inj) Walker (dud) Caracella (clearly not fit)

T Cloke back through the reserves if fit

Consider selecting H O'Brien in the next few weeks plus recalling Rowe if he continues to play well for Willy. Play Fanning as the sole ruckman with J Cloke as support. If we need a second ruck I'd rather Hall than Walker, better the devil you don't know.

Consider resting B Johnson or Didak if injured for O'Brien.

Give Iaccobucci 100 minutes gametime
Play Maxwell forward for the whole game, as a smaller mobile CHF.

I wouldnt mind see ben davies get another run before the end of season. He was very impressive yesterday for willy. I would play Rowe a couple more games at Willy and then bring him in for the last couple and hopefully he has bulit some confidence. Also a big pre season from Rowe i reckon. He needs to put on ten kilos. CARN PIES :D

In: O'Brien, Presti, Swan, Davies.

Out: Walker, Lockyer, Rusling, Caracella.

Lets see what the kid o'brien has got, Presti for obvious reasons, Swan back from his team susp. hes been good all year. Davies in because i'd like to see him again.

Walker - Dud. Lockyer - Regain some form of old. Rusling - INJ. Caracella unfit - Inj

I'd like to see Tarrant out so he can have his knee operated on. It doesnt matter who we have to play aslong as his knee gets better as early as it can. Damn we've been ravaged by injuries.

Rowe 1-2 more weeks in willy to give him some game fitness.

Can't see the point myself. Let the kid have lie down. He's done enough this year and we are a very very lost cause that he can't help at this point. I'd rather play Walker and pray he builds a draft value for some colub desperate for a tall. I can't see many changes worth making myself. Swan can come back.

chuck Yakka on the bench as well, we have nothing much to play for atm so why not play youngsters. Woey is on his last chance surely. Maxwell give a full game i nthe foward line and give j. cloke a chance to prove himself were he belongs in the back half and give heath shaw soe responsibilty

why was caracella not on the ground much last week.... what is wrong w him...?
Interested to find an answer, as when he was on he looked very tentative.

Freo do not have a backline full of "gorillas", as they prefer players shorter and play a more athletic game running game. If you have any forward "gorillas", select them.

Since we last got belted by 112 points by Freo, of last week's team there were 8 "ins" - Fanning, Presti, HShaw, Lonie, Davis, Buckley, Egan and Johnson who did not play that game against Freo.

Missing from last time's team would include Frase who got one touch, Cole about 10, RShaw and Rowe who didn't feature large, Walker (with Tarrant, Wakelin and Woey each getting less than 9 possies). OBree was in the bests then but may be missing this time from injury as might TCloke. Davies and Yakka were then in our bests.

Not sure what that all proves, but at least we have 8 different personnel already, to which I'd add Swan this time who didn't play that earlier round.

From last week we hear Rusling, Walker are out inj, with any ones of Cara, Didak, Johnson, Licca, Tarrant also carrying injuries that could put them out, and Yakka getting a lukewarm from the coach.

In from: Presti, Swan, O'Brien and either Hall, if too amny talls go out, or BShaw if Yakka doesn't get another game.

Either way we are approx half a different side since we met them last. A different challenge for better or worse?

It's also being played in a different state, the pies were in a real form slump when they came to Subi last time. Neither the players or Malthouse would allow another hiding like that. I imagine the team meeting this week will be highlighting commitment from the senior players, something that didn't happen the last time the sides met. Malthouse went on to publically slam his senior players after the match.

If the pies go man on man with Freo then that's the pies best chance of a win, if it's a shoot out I'd back the dockers.

I'll sign the death warrant, but the best thing about being beaten by 112 points last time we played them means we will NOT do any worse than that this time! :)

I hope!

Yes, their recent form is encouraging.
