Post for Moore if his ankle doesnt come up, or Thursty
Farmer/White for Foley.

Thats all id do.

White played well so doubt he will get dropped so Farmer maybe but seems the coaches love him. Did some good things but also did 2 horrible things. to be a player he must eliminate them from his game.

Our other whipping boy King thought played fantastic today, gave his all, won alot of contest footy.

Edwards was pretty ordinary with his disposal today, lots of hospital balls. I'd get rid of him and bring in Foley. Webberley should come in too, but I'm not sure who for. Griff for Polak maybe, or Griff for Webberley.

King, White and Farmer were all outstanding today, no way one of them will be dropped. White has grown on me so much, he's got a role to play now.

Are you kidding?

Shane Edwards game was awesome....he set up so many attacking plays with his creativity...this comment astonishes me and I am not an Edwards lover but credit where it is due.

Matt White is still up and down but don't think you can drop him after his effort today. Leave Nahas in the VFL and make him dominate for 2-3 games before being considered instead of just 1 good game.

If Moore is injured I would love to see Gourdis get a gig...

Is that intentionally a personal thing, or just sticking up for Edwards? Kind of an unnecessary comment there Tugg. Did you count Edwards' hospitals today? His disposal is ineffective. I'm a fan but really, who would you drop for Foley from today? Griff is the only other option.

Jesus . we must have been watching a different game Tom ... thought Edwards was very good . Disposal needs to improve but he aint Robinson Crusoe .

Thursfield for a probably injured Moore would be about it . Newman will no doubt be a very sore boy when he cools down and could be doubtful

King is earning his place no matter what people want to say about him ... we are chance this week

I thought Edwards turned it over a bit today too but his game wasn't too bad to have him dropped, that's for sure.

Keep Griff in for another week. Let him make another trip interstate and see what it's like. He's got the break the next week anyway.

Would like to see Webbers come in too, but I'm not sure who for.

Let's see how much support you get for dropping Edwards in this thread mate. Sorry if I offended you but your comment floored me.
I still kind of think you are taking the piss.

Do we know how serious the injury to Moore was?

I got a bit worried late in the game when Martin went down. Don't know what happened there, no one around him except a West Coast player? Maybe got a jab in the guts.

On the ins and outs... Webberley wasn't great for Coburg?

Foley if fit IN for Farmer.

Can't think of anyone else to drop... Astbury/Griffiths both need game time... otherwise I'd bring Polak in for one of them.

Nup. He got the ball but he was ineffective. On the basis of that game I wouldn't normally drop him but no one can say anyone else who should be dropped for Foley, and Foley should come in. Webberley probably deserves to as well.

I'm not worried about being offended, nor about how much support I get for it in this thread. To me, watching the game, Edwards was a clear standout to get dropped. I know he probably won't but so far no one is able to say anyone who should come out for Foley. If we wanna go one tall short, Griff will come out.

Edwards has played every game this year and has improved vastly compared to last year. He also played awesome today constantly weaving through traffic there is no way he will be dropped so all the edwards haters should give up.

As for the changes maybe farmer for foley as farmer made a few big mistakes today but still he didn't play bad.
Moore might be out so either thursty, post or even gourdis if they elevate him.
Griff needs more time at AFL to get used to it and he just gives Riewoldt that extra tall support. Astbury could be a case to go back to VFL but when he gets his few touches he does good things with them.

Wow if you honestly believe that you don't have much of an idea mate. He was ultra attacking today and set up some really clever plays. Had 2 goal assists and 7 inside 50's.and 20 touches (talking about Edwards).

Yes I know he was ultra attacking, but I don't agree he set up him really clever plays. I thought he set up nothing. It was a running gag with the people I was watching it with how many hospital balls he put to team mates today. Look I'm only talking about this as a necessity, who else are we gonna drop. I can't bring myself to suggest anyone else after today's game. If we're willing to go one shorty for a tally then Griff will come out, but I'm not convinced Dimma would do that.

I can forgive a couple of turnovers (and really, that's all I saw him do ttoday...probbaly two turnovers) if it means a player is breaking free from a congested space with four opposition players surroundin him. I thought Edwards was excellent in close today and his use of handball was terrific. In our top half dozen today.

The only change I could justify would be Foley for Farmer.

The usual suspects in White and King both made a couple of mistakes today, but their good easily outweighed their bad and they both have spot in the team on their form.

Farmer made a couple of blues but by no means had a shocker. But there is no point being complacent. Foley is one of our best 5 players. Fringe players are going to get pushed out, and that is how we are going to become better.

Griffiths didn't do alot today, made it's important he gets another gig. Astbury was okay today even if he didn't get alot of touches. Unless Moore is injured, Foley would be the only player I would be looking to bring in

Today I finally thought Edwards had rectified his weaknesses.

He didn't get caught every 2nd time, but did run the lines when he knew he could get though. Great attack on the ball and didn't play too loose from what I could tell( I was watching on the TV!). The interception he did to set up a goal was great to watch.
Had been thinking he would always be average, but was in my top 5 today!!

Two changes...

Moore/Grif for Thursty/Foley (assuming he is right)...Astbury goes forward.
