I hate to say it but
Out: Jetta:(

I agree, might do him good to get some touches for Bendigo.

Out: Nash
In: Watson

Nash was bad last night, disposal was shocking.

Knights said he will have to pass a fitness/concussion test during the week. He might not come up.

Out- McPhee
In- Gumbleton

McPhee was dead set horrid

a) McPhee has been pretty good this year, struggled a little when Scotty wasn't playing but he has been one of our better contributers thus far.

b) Gumby will not come in against WCE even if he does get through a 1/2 at Bendigo. Still a few weeks away.

It's time. The time has come to drop Lloyd. He is just being picked week in week out, because of his past and because he is the captain.

Love the guy, and what he has done over the years. A champion of this football club. Just tears my heart out, when you see him like how he is playing at the moment.

See if he can get some confidence back with his timing of his leads, marking and kicking bags of goals down at VFL. If he can't, just retire him at the end of this year, along with Michael. (Lucas and Fletcher the end of the following year).

Would have loved to see him kick 1000 goals. But for it to happen, he has to play for 4 more years. And even that might be a bit hard if he gets injured.

Neagle, Daniher and Gumby is the future. Neagle should be fit according to the injury updates. Though he has missed a couple of weeks, we can bring him in.

Out: Lloyd :)()
In: Neagle

Happy how they've played in the last two games as overall. Dropped away in the 3rd term against Adelaide but fought to the end in the last, and for quarter and a half against the Hawks we just gave in. But I was delighted with how they took on the Hawks in the first half. If it wasn't for our mistakes we would have been leading at half time by a healthy margin.

Lloyd won't be dropped. Would like to see what he can do up the ground when the forward line is getting starved. Surely having him bashing and crashing around in the midfield couldn't hurt for a 5 minute burst.

Thought McPhee had a good game. He is extremely frustrating to watch at times but at least he is always presenting and giving options. His attitude is always good and I believe this sets a good example for the younger players.

On a positive note the Monfries bashing as resided for a couple of weeks. It is interesting to watch his development as a negating forward, very different from where (from what i believe) his development as a junior was. I hope this is just part of the learning curve for him, as I still want him to make it as a midfielder and be a big possession accumulator.

Bellchambers will be in a lot of trouble next week against the eagles. From what i remember so far this season Knights has dropped any first gamer the next week (I stand to be corrected) hence will probably stay. I'm not sure Hislop/Fletcher will come up and may be rested this week although if fit i think both should play. Maybe bring in another big man to help against the ruck duo (and when they rest up forward) depending on fitness.

Out: Hislop Fletcher (if injured)
In: Laycock/Michael/Watson

McPhee nearly won the game for us against Adelaide and you want to drop him after a slightly bad game! If Watson is fit, he must come in and I think Mal is required this week to play on Lynch (this is the perfect match-up for Mal - don't be pig headed on this one Knighter).

Lloyd is out of form, but we had only 44 inside 50's on sat night and they weren't very clean. I'd rather give him a crack at CHB than drop him. Let him take his frustration out around the ball where he can crack some Eagles.

Hislop didn't play on Saturday, so he can't be out :thumbsu:

I'd like Jetta to be sent back to the VFL for a few weeks. It's obvious playing him in the seniors isnt really doing much for his development.

Hopefully Neagle is alright to come back in.

Nash also on the cards to be ommited. Thought he was in for a big this year, sadly he's just gone backwards if anything :(.

Normally if we lost by 51 points I would want two or three changes but lets look at the Game, we were very good for a half and had we taken our changes we would have been in front at half time.

This against the top side and one primed for September and nearly at full strenght minus Crawford yet we matched it with them for a half.

I would like Neagle to come in if fit, maybe a Rama but otherwise I would be happy for no change.

Yes Myers had a quite night but yeah in the context of the game and his experiance level he was fine.

Stanton is a good example several weeks ago people were calling for him to be dropped, he wasn't and now appears to be finding form, is clearly going harder a tthe ball than in the past.

The player I'm becoming a little disapointed with is Lovett but I know he can turn it on.

My only complaint about last week was the lack of movement from the forwards and midfielders while the backman would just stand their chipping it around, yes Hawthorn were clever pushing their players up the ground but this lack of movement needs to be addressed as I'm sure it will be just like the lack of defensive pressure appears to have been.

i cant get over the mcphee bashers. seriously the guy always tackles, presents good leads, takes marks (mostly:p).

maybe its cos he gets seen more than others because he actually gets to contests. . .

Not sure if Laycock will come up anyway , my mail is he has possibly got shin splints again.

____! Not good news. Was hoping for an injury free season, and just as he was getting back into the team.

He was excellent in the first half, and pretty damn good against Adelaide.

Don't know where you're coming from there.

OUT:
Bellchambers: not ready for this level, especially against Cox. Looked alright though, a good pick up for the future
Fletcher (if injured): not good news
Nash (if injured): ditto
Jetta (if Nash not injured): I gave him a lot of time, but he needs a spell, and some confidence.

IN:
Watson: 'nuff said. I'd like Hille to ruck the whole game, and have another small, who can match (although not play on) Cox in terms of output around the ground. Hille can probably hold his own against Cox in the hit-outs, and can beat Seaby around the ground.
Michael (if Fletcher injured): A good match-up for Lynch?
Neagle: Was very good before injury. Perhaps McPhee or, as Duckworth (?) said, Lloyd, to the midfield for bursts.

Jetta won't be dropped and if he was he has to be replaced with a SMALL forward not a tall forward in Neagle. Plus I can't see Neagle coming straight in after his injury. Nurse him back through Bendigo.
It's not going to happen because he's in the team to create forward line pressure, and there is no one else to replace him and do this. He should be dropped though IMO, as keeping him in the team jsut to play this role isn't doing anything for his development so it'd be much better for him to go back to Bendigo where he can play a greater role, and dominate a few games.
