HB: McLeod, Perrie, Massie
C: Burton, Ricciuto, Begley
HF: Johncock, McGregor, Jericho
F: Bock, Carey, S.Stevens
FOLL: Clarke, Stenglein, Bode
I/C from: Burns, Doughty, Hudson, Gallagher, Rutten, Reilly, Mattner
IN: Mattner, Reilly, Rutten

Interesting to see who misses out as its usually three from the bench.

If Reilly gets a game it will be Burns or Gallagher you would think

My bet is on an unchanged side.

So Bock is safe.

I'd say Rutten, Mattner and either Reilly or Burns will be omitted.

Could be an unchanged line up. Which is surprising, I thought they might drop one tall.

He played there last year too.

I can't recall any of his seven kicks hitting their targets.

If Gags gets dropped, I won't be happy. The guy has done nothing wrong all year. I'm not sure that I want Ronnie dropped either, give him one more week against his old side. So I think I'm leaning towards an unchanged side.

And just for the record...MATTNER?! ...obviously still in possession of those photos.

Martin bloody Mattner?!?!?! Give me a break:mad:

It will most likely be unchanged side. If thats the case I think we might be going in a bit too top heavy if in fact it is going to be cold, wet and windy.

We might have a travelling emergency. Who's got the bye in SANFL??????

West. So by that logic Rutten would be the emergency.

Doesn't do much to relieve your fear of the side being too top-heavy!

Hopefully they won't have an unchanged 22 as it will prove to be too top heavy by at least one, given that the ground is predicted to be a bit heavy and the conditions are likely to be wet.

Bock should be the one to go with Reilly being the only IN.

Bock will get further chances down the track.

Ive got a feeling they will go unchanged unfortunately. According to Roo thats exactly what they will do.

Very unfair for Reilly considering he was in good form before injury. Would be cruel to put him in Sturt colours

I'm not surprised with Mattner, I have quite a bit of faith in him. Of course, it's very doubtful that he will get a game this week.

It'll most likely remain an unchanged side, but surely Reilly would make the team?

Get rid of Burns. While he had an alright game against the Tigers, he fumbled the ball consistently and we can't afford that in the wet conditions. Reilly, in my opinion, would be a suitable replacement.

I think our talls right now are fine, so Rutten should be given another game at Westies. Then they should decide.

14 degrees on the Sunday at Geelong, for those who are interested.

Yeah but is it going to be wet?????? If it is we are going in at least 1 tall too many. We have Bassett, Perrie, Hentschel, Bock, Stevens, McGregor, Carey, Clarke and Hudson thats 9 talls for a wet weather game. Way too many IMHO.

I hope they make 1 change and that Reilly in and Bock out.

Guys, have the Crows ever omitted a player from the 25 who is listed in the starting 18, barring injury?

Bock is playing.

Supposedly it's overcast with a few showers during the day. Nothing much but it could be more than expected, so you do make a good point.

Stiffy, why don't you want Bock to play?

Just curious. ;)

He may be a cousin of mine......but I do question his possible selection. Oh well, will have to wait and see if he gets a game

Horses for courses. We are going in top heavy and of all the talls in the side Bock is the one that played "worst" out of that lot.

I don't mind Bock and he should get more chances as the year progresses but I wouldn't play him on the weekend due to team balance.

If it was a perfect footy weather then I wouldn't be totally against it but its likely to be wet and windy so I would drop a tall and thats Bock.

1st time for everything, but I doubt Ayres would start now by dropping someone named in the starting-18.

Agree with many that we have too many talls for the conditions & opposition & better off with Reilly for Bock.

Bock has not been named for the Eagles and will be playing on Sunday (I receive Eagles team via email each Thursday night from the club).
