Zane's a rookie and he's unfortunately not good enough (even when fit).

No surprise but thanks for the info.

just thinking about it, the more we delist, the more draft picks we are given and they usually stack up towards the end for instance i think carlton ended up with like two or three straight picks at the end one year and like 5 of the last 7 or 8 because they had so many spots open on their list. 5 picks after pick 60 is not the answer, so one of two things has to happen in my opinion, quite a lot of rookies being promoted or a combination of a lot of trading and pre-season draft activity. it looks like we are going to have quite the list change this year.

I wont have a problem with any or all of Fanning, Obrien and Davies getting promoted.

He has to go, Rookies can only stay on a clubs list for 2 years.
After 2 years a club has to either
Delist
Promote
Re-Draft as a rookie

He doesn't get delisted as suck because he isn't listed. He will clear a rookie list spot as will Fanning if he is listed as is likely and possibly Davies and O'Brien. Personally I'd let Fanning go as he's also done his 2 years and I'd leave Davies and O'Brien on the rookie list for another year. If form warrants there will most likely be a promotion opportunity. Right now I'd like us to turn over as many players from the draft as possible.

Fanning is a waste of space.

We'll perservere with him for 5 years, only to discover in the future, what is rather obvious now....

He is just not good enough, and never will be.

Too early to tell for a ruckman. They start maturing when they hit 24 - 25. Tell me which ruckman has been a star at the age of 20 ???

ease up champ

For a kid that was thrown in the deep end I thought he did alright.
Promote him on a small package for 2 years.
If no major advancements then blame lack of opportunity (Fraser, Richards, C2, C3) and trade him.
