So this is happening again. I think we'll learn more this year than we will about our 2015 one. The trailer is pretty powerful, first time I've heard Ken talk like that.

PORT ADELAIDE will take the world inside its walls once again with the release ofINSIDE: The Story of Port Adelaide 2016 this week.

Shown across the nation on FOX Footy at 8.30pm (ACST) on Tuesday 20 September, and then telecast to SA audiences on Sunday 25 September at 1.00pm on Channel 7 thanks to Renault Australia, INSIDE 2016 is the follow-up to the Power’s lauded debut documentary from 2015.

Filmed and edited by Port Adelaide’s lead cinematographer Julian Hatch, INSIDE does just that – taking the viewer to the most intimate moments of the Power’s season.

From brutal and searching post-game reviews to the elation of victory inside the change rooms, or heated selection discussions and the moment Angus Monfries and Paddy Ryder were informed of their season-long suspensions, INSIDE will take viewers through the highs and lows of the Power’s most challenging season under Ken Hinkley.

While the documentary will be shown to television audiences around Australia this week, the Power will release an extended 90-minute special edition on Sunday afternoon to add even more depth to this story of Port Adelaide’s season.

The official INSIDE: The Story of Port Adelaide 2016 will go live at 11.00am on Tuesday 20 September, with fans able to pre-register and view all the preview trailers.

If the ultimate message from Ken is Get What You Deserve again, I'll spit chips.

Could be that rare sequel better than the original.

Then again, it couldn't be any worse than last year's atrocity.

But I said that about our footy, too...

Can't believe how angry Ken is by round 3. How did his head not explode during the year?

Sounds to me as if the entire playing group checked out for the year as soon as Ryder and Monfries got suspended if he has to give them a bake like that before they go out onto the ground so early in the season against a side of top-up players. They were probably joking around in the tunnel and not taking the game seriously.

WTF are we doing? Clubs that consecutively finish outside the 8 should NOT be promoting "behind the scenes " type docos to be shown on national channels like Foxfooty.

If Richmond were doing this we'd be laughing our heads off.

I understand the need for self-promotion and getting your brand out there, and i know ken was hardly spending his time editing the footage himself, but sometimes i just wish as a club we would simply get back to winning footy games and playing finals.

As we found out in 2013-14 and the dogs are finding out now, the best promotion of your club or "brand" is playing exciting footy and winning tough important games in finals.

This doco seems like a bit of a joke in my opinion.

The media department needs to do something to justify their pay packets.

Just seems like we are sending mixed messages. Leaders at the club say that "Mad Monday" style celebrations should really be reaerved for the premiers yet on the other hand we are happy to annually release a fly on the wall style documentary about another mediocre season.

Maybe if it was just an internal type doco that was on the club website and went for 10 mins or so. But this just reeks of a club that again has got way ahead of itself.

Honestly, it sounds like this is a yearly thing regardless of how the team performs. If you want to watch a documentary when we win a flag, you need to make a commitment to film for the year and then release it no matter what...you can't just say 'Sorry, we're not releasing this footage because we didn't win anything' because that would be the sign of a team that only decided to make a documentary because they thought they were going to win it all.
