From the HS.
Accurate or not?
I'm tipping we beat Freo and are 4-2.

AFL 2022 ladder predictor: Every club’s first six rounds analysed

FREMANTLE
Rd 1: Adelaide @ Adelaide Oval (W)
Rd 2: St Kilda @ Optus Stadium (W)
Rd 3: West Coast @ Optus Stadium (W)
Rd 4: GWS @ Optus Stadium (W)
Rd 5: Essendon @ Marvel Stadium (L)
Rd 6: Carlton @ Optus Stadium (W)

TALLY: 5-1
It’s a favourable first six weeks for the Dockers, who don’t face any of the top six teams from last year. Four of the first six games are also at Optus Stadium, where Fremantle went 7-4 last season. Justin Longmuir’s side missed finals by just one game and percentage last season and should be one of the teams to jump up this season — if they can stay fit. But after last year’s injury list was at times as long as Santa’s Naughty list, that’s a big ‘if’.

WEST COAST
Rd 1:
Gold Coast @ Perth Stadium (W)
Rd 2: North Melbourne @ Marvel Stadium (W)
Rd 3: Fremantle @ Perth Stadium (L)
Rd 4: Collingwood @ Marvel Stadium (W)
Rd 5: Sydney @ Perth Stadium (L)
Rd 6: Port Adelaide @ Adelaide Oval (L)

TALLY: 3-3
The Eagles should not have too many problems swooping on two wins to start the year, given they face two of the bottom three sides from last season to kick things off. But after that, the going gets a little tougher for a side that is coming off a disaster second half of 2021 which saw them score just two wins from their last nine games. On paper, the Eagles still look good. But the list depth appears to lack and recent injuries to key players Oscar Allen (foot) and Jamie Cripps (shoulder) are not what coach Adam Simpson needs as he tries to turn around the fortunes of the club.
4-2 or 5-1 is my guess. We have never lost to Port a AO and I pick them as one of the annual top 4 from last year to drop out of the 8 (Brisbane also at risk).

Sydney is a likely loss. I've put Freo as 50-50 but we nearly beat them in the second derby, despite not showing up for two quarters, so we probably win that. Hell, put me down for us being 5-1 or 6-0.

Foxsports were almost insightful sharing a discussion with champion data about Naitanui being the highest rated player in the game. But in what must be the least qualified job in the world, they're fact checker on all things West Coast delivered again.

Wow - that is the most succinct summary of why Nic Nat is so much better than stat padders like Gawn and Grundy.

Lol they’ve fixed it now. Why not just get it right the first time

The clear no. 1 player on the only two meaningful statistical ratings systems we have.

Good on 7 for getting rid of him. Im conflicted on Daisy. On one hand she knows her shit and very insightful but on the other hand I find her voice annoying just as much as BT’s

But Norf invented Friday night footy!
I was excited until I found out who the replacement was. She is a terrible broadcaster (bad voice, often goes silent for long periods or just mentions inane crap) and doesn't even have a good football resume to fall back on.

No worse than BT or Brayshaw, but none of them should be on prime time.

So this comment was underneath a 7AFL insta post with a pic of Liam's two twins. Been well over 2 hours and 7AFL have yet to remove the comment. Liam is rightfully angry.

Liams at the age that he knows that he will likely get some sort of comment back on his social media….
He needs to be much better than that and threatening violence is not to be condoned no matter what was said…

But who is to blame?? Liam, the other poster or McGowan.

Depends what you say about someone's children or to them.

I'm not a professional sportsman but if someone threatened to hurt my dog or made an attempt on it you can absolutely guarantee i'd be ready to tear them to pieces, the same with my sons.

People with dominant protagonist personalities are not the sort of people to make threats to about family members, animals or those who can't defend themselves. Threaten them and they really don't mind particularly once they are fully mature. However bring family or others into it and it's a completely different story. If someone threatens me I very easily and happily walk away or laugh it off.

That said social media really isn't the place for it and for professional athletes they really should have private accounts or at least settings where comments are turned off to stop things like Liam's response.
