The Saturday afternoons I whiled away, combusting fine herbal pleasures, while listening to PBS' awesome reggae show, Chant Down Babylon. Great program.

Man, words can't describe how much I dig some of Lee Perry's stuff. The man is a complete legend. (And a complete weirdo, too....but let's just stick with legend for now.)

Now I think of it, should probably give Bill Laswell a quick shout-out on this thread, too.

i thought the name malanguena was familiar. yeah i remember we done that when i played classical guitar. haha im maybe not as skilled jose but.

Hate to drug, booze and flare it up but his vocals are also exemplary, as I'm sure you're aware. But I always loved the Chico and the Man closing theme.. Unfortunately we'll have to make do with the opening;
