Brightspark, i would have adam quinn on the ground with casset, and chris morgan as the ruckmen. best in the comp by far.
(Who cares about the result lets just have a go and play them.The SFL needs to have respresentative footy on its calender and if players don't get behind it they won't bother in the future.Anyway how would this team go?

SFL haven't beaten the AMmo's C-D4 yet how on earth would they start now. Horler which ever one you are talking about, Wells, Kirkland, Adam Quinn these guys wouldn't even get a call up to the second string amateur squad. The starting 18 is ok but wouldn't run EFL to 20 goals. The EFL would probably have at least 15 AFL listed players. Sh!t there is about 10 at Balwyn alone. I think you underestimate the strength of the Amateurs.

For starters Willy the Ammo teams each year contained 6 A and B grade players that missed on their A team.The rest were from C-D4.Can only remember the Ammos belting Southern once the rest of the games were decided by 15 points or less.
Their is also 5-6 mainly from StK,StPauls and Chelt that i overlooked so i stick by my call that we would be far to good for you blokes.

a grade ammos rep team of efl divi 1 rep team would beat sfl by 10+ goals. vermont would beat sfl's best rep team IMO.
Vermont would beat that side comfortably.
That being said, the way the Vermont team plays together would beat a lot of teams full of big names every day. (Beat Balwyn by 20 goals who have much better side on paper than the SFL side).

james might struggle playing in the centre, had about 3 touches on weekend, looked fat slow and disinterested, a lot of hype very little return

yes a lot of hype with very little return, considering the week before he had 24 odd touches with a lazy 12 goals playing mainly in the middle.......
fat doesnt always equal slow, he has an impressive turn of speed, just ask anyone that has been chasing his tail.
you ask anyone that knows anything about the sfl and they will tell you he is an absolute star. one bad week doesn't equal a fail in my books.

i tend to agree, just cos u play divi 2 or 3 doesn't mean ur not good enough or cant play divi 1 or make inter league squad, some people just play in lower grades to play with mates etc and not chase $$$

it doesn't matter that it was springvale, you said little return, so far he has been quite consistent with the exception of 1 bad game. St Kilda city outcoached and outplayed us but that doesn't mean that James is slow and under performing.
If you trained alongside him, and watched the majority of his games, you would realise how much pace he actually is......just ask some of the st kilda city players he burned in the grannie along that grandstand flank.
Give credit where it's due otherwise keep your uneducated opinions to yourself!

That is incorrect mate. Quinn was never drafted, unlucky, because I am fairly sure that he was Vic Metro skipper in Under 18's. Pace was a query I believe. Probably still is! It was very surprising that his mate John Hynes got drafted and he didn't. That's recruiting for ya.
