Congrats tdf!

I watched the Catania v Roma game just then and heard your result........not that I really care that much.

Which 3 teams drop down then? Parma is one, but who are the other 2?

Did Vinnie Grella's Torino survive? I assume so but didn't hear the other results.

No way Mustang bro.... considering Torino's opponent's, Fiorentina, (The Viola), had the 4th & last qualifying Champions League spot on the line... on the 75th minute, none other than Argentine Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, who's amazing reflex bicycle snap reaped the winner!! Fiorentina beat Torino 1-0.

Whooo- hooo! :thumbsu: btw Socceroo Vince Grella got subbed in the last 10m.. Torino survived relagation. But Congrats to Inter Milan... but I'm just rapt for the Viola fans that had to put up with the embarrassment last week from the Rangers penalty shoot-out debacle.

Inter-Milan can celebrate with this guy, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, who denied AC Milan the 4th & last Champions League spot. :p

Socceroo's Mark Schwartzer may be Viola's next keeper.

Meh, we knocked Inter out of the Champions League and we were piss poor all season.

Oh, and Fernando>>>>>>>>Zlatan

Hmmmmmmmmmm, interesting. Thanks Woodson.
What about the middle of the road (premature table toppers) Palermo, home of my fellow Marcellin Alumni Marco Bresciano?

How'd they finish up?

I hope to see Bresh in the EPL next season, but not in the corrupt Thai's team!

Oh, and Fernando>>>>>>>>Zlatan

Zlatan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> then Torres.

We suck at Champions League, one thing i hate about our coach, very good at Seria Comp, shithouse at CL.

Rumours are the Maurino could take over as manager for next season.

Torres' 33 goals in his first year>>>>>>>>>>Zlatan's 17 goals

Anyway, aren't you a Liverpool supporter as well? Or are Inter your main team?

You may have one this minor Serie A comp thing, but are you going to Wembley next week? Hmmm??

there's only one Jonny Howson...

I hope Leeds are back in the top flight sooner rather than later. I have a soft spot for them because I supported them for a little while when I first got into Soccer.

Juventus fan myself. Was rapt to see AC Milan finish 5th and miss the champions league, and it was good to see that Fiorentina will play champions league.

Would of prefered to see Roma win the Scudetto than Roma.

Champions League
Inter, Roma, Juventus, Fiorentina

Uefa Cup
AC Milan, Sampdoria, Udinese.

Hahaha, like the first 2 even count. You were handed the first two because half the teams in that corrupt league were either relegated or docked points.

Thanx WK. Here's a 1-0 game thriller. Highlight of season was Viola's 3-2 triumph over Juve... you guys have had the wood on my guys.
Watch for Osvaldo's dynamic goal just past the 2m mark of the clip to put the dagger in the Rossoneri (red+Black) heart. :p

Exact same as me.

Were my first EPL team.

Hmm..... yeah you could say I moved because of Kewell. Bad move for him, frustrating yet good (could be better) move for me.

I would have stuck with Leeds if what happened back then happened now, my loyalty wasn't the best. I hated Leeds for a while after I left actually, because of the way the board fuct up the team, but now I'm back to having a soft spot for them.

For pure freakishness, Zlatan's hard to beat. I used to watch him play a fair bit in his Ajax days when I was living in the Dam and he'd score the most amazing goals. Based on what I've seen of him, that 'pigeon wing' he scored against Italy in Euro 2004 was no fluke. He did something like that every second or third match.

If Ajax managed to keep a hold of players like Zlatan, Chivu, Snijder and van der Vaart, they'd regularly make it through to the quarter finals of the Champions League, rather than losing play-offs to Twente Enschede and missing out on a spot in the UEFA Cup.

My beloved Celtic are Scottish champions for the third year running.

Celtic and Rangers were both equal on points on the last day, with Celtic ahead on GD. Rangers lost 2-0 to Aberdeen, whilst we defeated Dundee United 1-0.

Rangers had it in the bag, where it was apparently inevitable they would win the league, but to keep it on topic with the OP, they did a Port Adelaide whilst we did a Brisbane Lions.

Rangers fans may say they made the UEFA Cup final this season. Well, the truth is, the only reason they got there was because they were not good enough to finish in the top two placings of their Champions League group, whilst we did, but were knocked out by Barcelona in the last 16.

So, in another words,

SPL Champions three years in a row/last 16 of CL two years in a row>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2nd in the SPL, knocked out in the group stages of CL, UEFA Cup final.
