What would everyone think if Brad Green became the next captain of this club?
If you said this to me before the game v Geelong, I would've said get :D:D:D:Ded. After last night I have changed this opinion. He really led the club beautifully last night and I get the feeling that this extra responsibility made him go in much harder than usual. He put his body on the line when it was his turn and didn't take a backward step.
This extra responsibility may be what Brad Green needs to enter the Superstar category.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on this?????

(This isn't necessarily what I would like to happen, but it could make for a very interesting discussion)

if he goes as hard at the ball when he aint captain as he did last night then he is up there.

2 years younger tahn bruce so that could help.

I was really impressed by the effort he put in but really it shouldnt take the captaincy to make him play like that.

And as well as he played, Bruce was much better and is a shoe-in now to get the job at the end of the year.

During the radio call the commentators were talking about how much he was getting involved at the huddles, and he was certainly going a lot harder at it than usual. Perhaps leadership could be the thing that takes Green to a very good player rather than an average reciever.

I agree, it would be a big risk to give it to Green. Bottom line is that it shouldnt take the captaincy to make him play like that.

Has to go to Bruce.

perhaps but that is a bit of a risk don't you think?
Just to keep the thread running, in what way would it be a risk? Is it the fact that Green isn't always a consistent performer and isn't really the type of player to lead a team? (eg. Not a hard, tough player)
