i'm currently in california, and have been scouring the internet to try and find out if and on what station the melbourne cup is broadcast on... does anyone know or know where i could find out?

thanks, at least i have some options... i'd love to be able to get hold of the complete coverage, but i don't think i'll be able to... might have to get a tab betting account...

ring espn, get them to cover it, surely they don't have much on late at night. Except sportscenter.

Ring your local Aussie Bar. They might be showing it live and organising a sweep etc. They did when I was in Japan, so I assume they'd do the same in the US.

unfortunately there are no aussie bars in santa barbara... and i think it's not late enough @ night for espn to choose to broadcast it, it will be on about 9-10pm on the monday night here... i'm not sure who covers it, but i'm sure monday night football will be the big sporting event at the time here...
