The Aussies just dont seem to be able to land a tackle, they are getting brushed off too easily...Its killing them its their major asset and it has been nullified while we are making their disposal look impecible.

Seriously get G-Train and Barry Hall in. Each one of them beats the irish up. One in each match so we end up beating them

PS. THis O'Halpin fella from Carlton playing for Irish looks pretty good. Giving St. Nick a bit of a bath

EDIT: Byron Pickett would be really suited to this game I reckon. He would dish it out too:D
 
The Aussies are getting alot more run but I think they are better off to keep running and put pressure on the goal keeper and go for the 6 pointers. They just keep shooting from distance and they dont have the skills for that!
Just get a rugby rolling maul started and run the poor Irish bastards down.

Its a bit of a worry when Jarred Mcveigh is taking on the role as the tough man :rolleyes: :D

problem is we are way way to slow!! we need players like the burgoynes who are quick and well skilled, small forwards like milne and matera! Judd who is electrifyingly quick! we are slow with blokes like c bolton, hudghton, hadrill and kirk! it is just a merger of essendon and st kilda at the moment! :rolleyes:
 
if someone can explain why we play this ******ed game over state of origin i would be much obliged. the excuse for state of origin dieing out was because the best players made themselves unavailable. Considering the hacks that are getting a game in this stupid game, youd suggest the circumstances are similar.
 
these irish refs are a bit touchy arent they? mcphee hardly touched the guy on the mark and he got a 25m penalty or whatever it is.

Perfect example then with the free kick against Solomon for that fair hip and shoulder.

They are gonna need to have someone take one for the team and start an all in brawl, not just for their sake but for my viewing pleasure, this is almost embarrassing to watch.

Gary Lyon and the selectors have a lot to answer for,

1.our team has crap skills
2.we look crap when moving the ball out of defence
3.we have a team of hacks over there
4.we have no pace, atleast if you are going to pick players pick quick ones not lumbering hacks like braun, hadrill, c bolton, solomon, mcphee, mcveigh, kirl..... the list could go on
5.you have cooney there who is quick use him!
6.had one of the quickest and harest running players in Aussie Jones on the bench scratching his nuts for the whole 1st quater when we are getting cut up!
 
I get the feeling that we will be a bit more serious in the second half.
I dont think its as bad as the GABBA :o
I just cant understand why we are running around in circles, run straight ffs.

This is embarassing. Why do we shoot from 20 metres out when we can run all the way in, and we don't even make the distance? Seriously, it's not that hard to kick a round ball.

The umpiring is ridiculous. The Irish umpire is so biased and McBurney is too scared to pay a free to us because the ********-weak Irish will kick up a stink.

What is Mal Michael doing? Offering absolutely zero value. Not doing a thing. Cannot kick the ball and has no idea in the way of positioning. Any person could do a better job right now, including Nathan Bock.

Agree with you Roodog. What is Braun doing there? He is so out of his league it is not funny. Whatever happened to the days of Aker, Roo, Pav, Buckley, Hall, Mcleod, Voss, Black etc. We would smash them with these blokes out there.

Jesus, I knew they'd have a head start but 35 points? Too much to make up even with our fitness.

The scary thing about IR is, I see a lot of similarities to Origin :(

South Australia (Ireland) always endeavoured to send their best out - carrying injuries and all - to face the Vics and the result was a matter of life or death, whereas the Vics would often be understrength (the common cold is such a b1tch) and it was all very mehworthy to Victorians (Australia) in general.
