SANFL matches for that weekend...
FRIDAY @ 7:40pm
Norwood vs. Port Adelaide; Coopers Stadium, Norwood
SATURDAY
South Adelaide vs. West Adelaide; Hickinbotham Oval, Noarlunga @ 2pm
Glenelg vs. Sturt; Gliderol Stadium, Glenelg @ 4:30pm
Central District vs. Woodville-West Torrens; Hamra Homes Oval, Elizabeth @ 6:30pm
If you do decide to take in one of these, the first match would be a winner mainly because of the rivalry factor but for convenience of location to where you're staying then the one at the Bay should be worth checking out. There's no seating arrangement, the only dry areas are within the "Family Friendly" Areas which are clearly marked and its only $10 to get in.

Well if he does go to a match he can cancel out Elizabeth & also the Noarlunga match (south v west, my god)
Norwood v Port would be good because of rivalry and because there's a wicked atmosphere at Norwood oval, and there's plenty to do on the Parade in terms of pubs and meals. The Bath on the Norwood Parade is my suggestion, also the Alma is just a short walk from Norwood oval on Magill Road

i think i will check out the glenelg match..... dunno about my mates but id just like to see the comparison to the SANFL and VFL... heard good things about the standard of footy in the SANFL so it would be good to get down and have a look
