Yeah I don't think I've got one outside of a CD either.

I've had three... a Snorunt, a Minun and a Swablu (from an egg) but on the flip side I can never seem to get more than one shiny from community days.

I've only caught 2 shinies outside of community day, though both were still technically during events - one Plussle, and yesterday a Drifloon.

I got both of those as wll and caught a shiney Krabby a few weeks ago. was a real surprise.

Despite having caught enough Magikarp to have the candy to evolve 3 Gyarados, and keep one constantly at maxed out CP, I haven't caught a single shiny. Similar story for Swablu and Wailmer.
