One thing I used to do a lot when I was a Palm devotee was keep lists and databases. I'd like to do the same on the iPhone but haven't found a good app yet.

For example, I'd like to record a list of when I get petrol for my car

Code:
Date Day PPL Disc Litres Total Location
==================================================================
2009-11-11 Wed 122.9 4c 25.00 29.73 Kings Way, Melbourne
And I would be able to use a formula to calculate the Total amount. Any apps out there?

To record details for cars I use an app called Gas Cubby.
I got mine from a different website cause my phone is JB but that is the link to the lite version. AFAIK they are the same.

http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/id311197503?mt=8

Any Peggle masters out there? I've had it for 10 days now and I'm determined to finish it.

Best shot: 519,820
Best fever: 255,700
Challenges finished: 29 / 40
Levels 100% cleared: 15 / 55

Anyone playing Peggle? I've completed all 40 challenges and now have cleared 35/55 levels, so 20 to go. I'll probably eventually complete it then never play the game again :p

Noob stion. Can you use bluetooth headsets with the iPhone? I've heard that the iPhone doesn't have proper bluetooth or it's nobbled or something. Does jailbreaking fix that?

BT headsets work legit. JBing unlocks real BT, so you can connect to others and share etc

Is it possible at all to repair an iPhone screen?

I'm asking because mine smashed last week and I've sent it away to the insurance company so they can look at it. I don't think they can repair it, it seems way too difficult.

Also, I've heard things from friends saying when an iPhone is broken they send out a 3GS because they don't produce iPhone 3G's anymore, is this true?

Pretty sure they still make the 3G.

i had a blown speaker. I also had the Apple care protection Plan.

I rang them up and they sent me a new 3G and i sent the old one back.

Hey guys, porbably of getting an Iphone and obviously jailbreaking the new 3GS ones. 2 questions:
1) is there a jailbreak that exists yet for 3GS? and if so where would I find apps for it that allow me to benefit from a JB'ed Iphone.
2) if for whatever reason my phone stuffs up, i've read that you can just restore your Iphone and when you send it to Apple they won't know any difference. But I've also read that some people can't restore properly when they send it back to apple. Whats the truth here?
Thanks guys
I dare say I'll be a regular poster in this thread sometime soon

Its not a matter of being a 3GS its more crucial what version of the software you have installed. Considering you have not bought your iPhone yet you will more than likely end up having the latest version of the software. Obviously Apple don't want people jailbreaking their phones so they work hard making the software updates trickier to break. As far as I know they have jailbroken all the software up till now anyway so you shouldn't have any problems.

I have jailbroken my phone a few times now and have not experienced any problems at all. Like you said worst case scenario is you just restore your phone through iTunes.

For info on how to install apps for free look back in this thread a few pages as more than one person has written outlines for how do it.

Hi, silly question, been looking all over Whirlpool but can't find a definitive answer. Thinking about joining with 3 on the works plan. Would appreciate some feedback from other 3 iphone users.
1) How do you find the reception? Will be in the Perth CBD a majority of the time
2) How often does your iphone begin roaming and whom to?
3) When roaming is there an excess fee applicable when browsing the net when roaming?

Thanks

Yeah I saw that.

33rd Division is the first game.

What's the difference between Appulous, Hackulous and Crackulous.

I don't get it.
Appulous, Installous and Hackulous are all the same. They provide the easy access to thousands of cracked apps through their site and app. Their app does all the necessary tweaks to allow cracked apps. Very simple.

Anyone else notice how the AppStore is absolutely rooted.

A couple updates went through fine, but I have 5 pending and they will install, be it invidually or all at once, via my iPhone or my PC, yet they continue to remain in the AppStore as if there is a new update.

I have tried this almost 10 times and nothing has changed.

I did install today's update for Pocket God however and that worked fine the first time, AS IT BLOODY WELL SHOULD.

Had one repaired recently by a guy in Sydney http://www.iexperts.com.au/?page_id=29

Cost $99 dont think you'll get it done cheaper even including the cost of postage. Have a look at his site should give you all the info you need.

my i phone 3g just went to a white screen yesterday, it won't turn off or anything, the screen is just white with some vertical stripes down the side. i tried calling it and nothing on the screen changed but i slid down the bottom and i could actually talk on it.

I tried doing a restore on itunes, and it recognised the i phone and did the restore but nothing changed with the screen.

Anyone know anything about this/ how to fix it?

I tried holding the on/off switch and the home button down at the same time already but that hasn't done anything...

Sorry if there has already been a post about it i did try to search but nothing came up.

Without being an electrorics wiz I'm guessing your problem is not something that you are going to be able to fix yourself. The fact that the iPhone is recognised by iTunes says to me that the phone itself is working but the screen has shit itself. I hope you took out insurance when you bought it.

On a lighter and more exciting note. Check out the new Doodlejump for Christmas.
