If you're talking about Appstore Apps, they should sync to your library/computer when you connect your iPhone. You should see them all in your App library in iTunes.

If not, just find the folder that iTunes stores the IPA files in, and transfer them to the laptop.

Anyone need a Usage application? You can't do much better than Consume by Melbourne developer Bjango. Can do all Australian prepaid and postpaid mobiles, as well as internet providers and home phone accounts. Even does some overseas providers.

The application is the easiest I have seen to set up, and the interface is very clean and not cluttered.

Cheers for the reply. The app mysteriously appeared tonight, problem solved.

As for the song, is your iPhone synced? if so and its on your laptop, sync it back to the phone?

The song is ticked, and when i go into my music library on my laptop it's there and I can play it. Have synced my phone many, many times ince (it automatically does it, plus I've done it manually many times), but it won't show up on the phone.

I have the email receipt they send you for purchases, is there anywhere else these things might be hiding? I reported the problem to Apple weeks ago, but I haven't heard back and don't imagine it's on their list of priorities. Is a mystery.

Need flash for most sites. So no.

The only thing could be using the UStream app ... but you can only view the featured streams, and they are unliekly to be illegal streams of NBA

Friend from work had her's done by Apple for $250. Or he could buy one off eBay and fix it himself. If that works? I've never heard from anyone's who has done it..

Does anyone know how to rename a file on a Windows/PC? Not the name but the type of file. I need to change a m4a file into a m4r file for my iPhone (ringtones) but i can't find a way to do it.

Yes. Open My documents or some other fOlder and Goto folder options and uncheck the box that says 'hide known extension files'. You'll be able to see the file type and just rename it like you would the title.

If you want ringtones, just use iRinger (free, just search for it). They will automatically send to iTunes and then you can sync just like normal.

The only reason you should be doing the process you described is for custom Message tones. Because they can't be changed officially.
