The best actual app is 'Footy LIVE'
Gives you quickly updated scores and good info. However goal kickers and starts are only updated every quarter.

If you are a Dreamteamer I would suggest just saving the Fan Footy website in your safari browser and use that. Updates by itself every 30 seconds with up to date scores and DT/SC scores.

If you want live stats I just use the html version of gameday live from the AFL website. A combination of these 3 gives you everything you need.

This works on my 3GS on 4.0.1 so I'd imagine it'd be the same.

* Double tap the home button, you'll see a list of apps running (this is for multitasking without exiting apps).
* Hold one app as if you would to make them shake so you could move/delete them etc.
* You will see a small red dot with '-' in it, tap that and the app will close.

Is this correct?

I was under the impression, that Home double click brought up a list of recently used apps, but not necessarily 'still running' multi-tasking apps?

Having said that, I still dont know how you tell what is still running, so am I wrong?

MMM Footy Lite. Not completely live scores, but quarter-by-quarter.

I have all the footy apps, and I reckon MMM is comfortably the best.

This, but just correcting what you said. The scores are live. The stats are not completely live, but quarter by quarter.

Cellular Network Data. Is this a reflection on the amount of data usage Ive used so far in my plan?

yeah, where are you seeing this? you get xxx MB per month. If you're on the internet and not connected to a wireless network, then you're using cellular data.

keep an eye on your usage by getting the Consume app.

I've used about 150mb according to my Cellular Network Data. Telstra sent me a message telling me I've used 100% of my 500mb, which is impossible, I've hardly used the internet, I assume I've only used the 150mb due to downloading some apps etc.

If I've sent 150mb of Cellular Data, Telstra must have made a mistake with this message?

If you have a lot of apps using Push Notification, that could be chewing your data a little.

If this is a new phone contract you will find that your data allowance for the shortened first month is proportional to the time left. So if you have 2 weeks left until your first bill then your data allowance from the start would have only been 250mb. Slightly annoying but it will restart a lot sooner than you think.

I can see the shuffle option, but can't see a repeat option?

When the music is playing with the album/playlist you want, and you're on the screen with the album art (and play/pause, skip etc.) shown, just tap the screen, brings up the progress bar along with repeat, shuffle and genius. Repeat is the two arrows one, tap it until its blue, but doesn't show the 1 (with the 1, it repeats the same song).

Zero negatives. Only potential is if you somehow get it frozen in a state where you can't restore and therefore would have voided the warranty. But that would be near impossible.
