Have you paid anything? Any reason you are staying with 3?

If not, why not ditch them for Telstra or Voda.

I have to pay a plan cancellation fee, still have 3-4 months left. If the cancellation involves an upgrade I get it at a discounted price. It's only $40-50 so I suppose I could change dealers.

No reason for staying with Three Mobile except for contract cancellation fees. Voda are offering better plans for the same price, but Three have definitely deteriorated since the Voda merge. Many threads on Whirlpool about people not happy with Three in recent months.

**** it. I ordered an Iphone 4 on Telstra online about a week ago when it was available. I got an email the day after saying that I had to pay ETC because I was still in contract, and to call a number and get it sorted out. I did that (it turned out due to a dispute of when the contract started and an error by Telstra I didn't have to pay ETC, they put a credit on my account). Come this week I haven't received any communication from Telstra as to whether the iphone is in stock or not. I ring up to see if my order has been cancelled and despite the csr telling me it woudn't be, sure enough it was.

Now I can't order online because they've taken that option down.

personally, i don't understand why people order mobile phones online. all i ever hear is orders getting stuffed up or interminable delays while other people walk into a store and pick one up.

me, i'd always want to pick one up, in person, and sort out any transfer/cancellation issues, in person.

Apparently people on whirlpool were getting them within 2 or 3 days of ordering them online so I tried that. I chose the option to pick one up in store anyway. I thought it would be better than trying my luck on random days to see if a store is in stock.

My mate pre-ordered with Voda and had to wait 5 weeks! He was reading on Whirlpool of people just walking into a store 2-3 weeks after initial release and picking one up. I told him to cancel and go to a shop, but he waited it out.

I'm so sick of Three Mobile, will call them this week and see what happens. Was at Crown yesterday, no reception (voice or data). Before the Voda merge I always had voice reception although data was hit and miss.

I don't see how Three can survive without the previous roaming to Telstra.

Went into my 3 store today wondering when the **** my iPhone4 is going to arrive and get the answer - another 6-8 weeks.

I ordered a week before the release so have already waited 7 weeks and now have to wait another 6-8 weeks. Really pissed off.

Why would you order through the retailer? Ordered mine through apple a couple of weeks after launch and it came within 30 days. That was their guarentee. Retailers are useless.

My plan isn't finished yet, as I've said in the thread twice. I'd prefer to cancel my plan and sign up to my iphone in the same process on the same day.

Interesting. Only a matter of time though before this was done, if someone else hasn't done it already?
I didn't think that iPod Touch's had microphones though? If not then it must be part of the add-on case.

4.0.2 isn't getting a JB.

4.1 should be out within 1 month.
