Siri will be fun to play with for a few minutes. I will be able to ask it about the weather in 100 different ways instead of just using a weather app or putting my hand out the window. Oh wait, it's only for the 4S.

after 2 years my iphone screen finally after heaps of times of dropping it cracked this afteroon. cost $65 to get fixed tonight.

Is the lining up itself that people enjoy with new apple product launches?
I ordered my iPhone (32gb Black 4S) over the phone Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered a couple of minutes after 9am this morning. It was unpacked, synced and activated before most people would have got home from Southland/Chadstone/etc.
As for the phone itself i upgraded from a 3GS so the speed and display are a huge step up.
Won't bother much with Siri until they activate the location services for Australia.

Pretty sure I'll hang on to my 3GS. Have very little interest in Siri or a better camera, make it 100MP for all I care. Faster processor would be nice though. iOS5 is working sweet on my 3GS, battery life isn't great though.
I reckon the next iPhone will have a bigger screen and a curved non-glass back, similar to the 3GS.

Yeah, that's what I'm finding too. Is pretty ordinary at the best of times, but with iOS5 it is horrendous. Happy with the new os overall though. Am thinking I'll probably hang onto my 3GS too, was all set to upgrade, but might as well stick it out now and wait for the 5, hopefully here by May.

We're heard it before but, speculation that the next iPhone was Job's last major project. The same claims of a 4" screen, same size as the 4S, but thinner. AND LTE.

4S has been selling like hotcakes, can you imagine how well next year's model will sell? I can believe that the iPhone 4G/5 will be announced at WWDC. The 4S owners with a 9 month old phone will still want to upgrade!

I Think it's why Apple still are where they are. The update didn't suit everybody, but it sure sold well. Make a bigger impact when they need it.
My 3GS is just about cactus.
Battery on the way out, and random shutdowns when it goes under ~45%.

Well my battery is no where near as bad as that! You could have looked at replacing the battery, but I'm sure you will be happy with a new phone. 64GB? I only have 16GB! I'll definitely want 32GB next time.
Samsung are now trying to have the iPhone 4S banned here in Australia.
For infringement of the letter "S" - iPhone 4"S" = "S"amsung.
Maybe Apple sued Samsung because Galaxy Tab has two many A's.
