IRC Channel for setting up games?

Just had the random thought that IRC would be a hell of a lot easier to set up games over rather than PSN/xboxlive/bigfooty.

If anyone else is keen, name a server/channel name and I will lurk there like a boss. (or I could make my own...fine I'll do that)
